What This Product Does

The label provides a visible reference for tyre-pressure information. Renewing an illegible sticker restores access to that information and replaces a small detail that may be missing after refurbishment or body repairs.

Functions

  • Displays tyre-pressure reference information.
  • Replaces a damaged or absent vehicle label.
  • Supports the completion of restoration and detailing work.

Technical Details

  • Brand: OE Match.
  • Part reference recorded in the supplied diagram: 96470128700.
  • Component description: tyre pressure sticker.
  • Diagram assembly: stickers 964 1989–94.

Symptoms of Fault

  • Print has faded or become difficult to read.
  • Edges are lifting or the sticker is peeling.
  • The label is cracked, discoloured or damaged by cleaning.
  • The original sticker is missing.

Why Replacement Matters

A clear replacement makes the tyre-pressure reference readable again and helps complete a vehicle refurbishment. OE Match focuses on Porsche replacement applications; check the printed information and intended vehicle specification rather than relying on model designation alone.

FAQs

  • Is this a tyre-sidewall decoration?
No. This product is a vehicle tyre-pressure information sticker, not decorative tyre lettering.
  • Is it a Genuine Porsche-branded part?
The supplied brand is OE Match, a Porsche-focused replacement-parts brand.
  • What should I check before fitting?
Confirm the vehicle application and compare the label information with the correct specification for your car.

About Tyre Decals

Porsche Tyre Decals | Design911 Authentic Restoration Labels for Accuracy, Safety & Presentation

Tyre decals are essential identification and information labels fitted to Porsche vehicles, displaying recommended tyre pressures, sizes, and specifications. These decals play an important role in ensuring correct tyre maintenance and performance while contributing to the authentic presentation of your Porsche’s interior, luggage compartment, or door jamb. Whether restoring a classic model or maintaining a modern one, a clear and accurate tyre decal is both functional and visually important.

At Design911, we offer a premium range of tyre decals, precisely produced for accuracy, clarity, and longevity. Each decal is made from durable, heat- and moisture-resistant material. Perfect for restoration, servicing, or concours preparation, these decals preserve authenticity and deliver a professional finish to your Porsche’s presentation.

What Do Tyre Decals Do?

Tyre decals provide vital reference data for safe and efficient driving while enhancing the originality and detail of your Porsche’s design.

Core Functions:
• Display correct tyre pressures, load ratings, and sizes.
• Assist with maintenance and correct inflation for optimal performance.
• Enhance safety, grip, and fuel efficiency through accurate reference information.
• Add authenticity to restoration or detailing projects.
• Restore the original look and accuracy of the engine bay or interior.

A properly placed and legible tyre decal ensures both driving safety and an authentic, professional Porsche finish.

Why Do Tyre Decals Fail or Degrade?

Exposure to environmental factors and regular cleaning can cause tyre decals to fade, peel, or become illegible over time.

Common Causes of Failure Include:
• Fading or discolouration from UV exposure.
• Peeling or cracking due to moisture and temperature cycles.
• Damage from solvents, cleaning products, or abrasion.
• Adhesive breakdown due to age.
• Wear and tear from regular vehicle use or restoration work.

A worn or missing tyre decal not only detracts from your Porsche’s presentation but also removes valuable reference information for servicing or tyre maintenance.

Why Replace Your Porsche Tyre Decals?

Replacing old or damaged decals restores both the aesthetic and practical integrity of your Porsche. High-quality reproduction tyre decals ensure information accuracy and authenticity — essential for professional restorations, concours displays, or detailed maintenance.

Key Benefits:
• Restores accurate tyre pressure and specification data.
• Improves safety through proper tyre information visibility.
• Enhances authenticity in restorations or rebuilds.
• Heat, moisture, and solvent-resistant for long life.
• Precision-printed for correct Porsche typography and layout.
