NOTE: In the United Kingdom, sports catalytic converters and bypass pipes do not have type approval and are not legally permitted for use on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001. They are not MOT compliant and cannot be used on public roads. These components are intended solely for race and track use.

For vehicles manufactured before 1st March 2001, a non-type approved sports catalytic converter may be fitted, provided it offers comparable performance to the original and the vehicle continues to meet the applicable emissions standards for its age.

The vehicle must still pass an MOT test. If you are located outside the UK, please check your local laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Fabspeed Single Wall Oval Bolt-On Tips.

The Fabspeed Single Wall Oval Bolt-On Tips are a premium exhaust-finishing upgrade designed for Porsche 993 Twin Turbo applications using factory-style exhaust tip connections.

Fits:

• Porsche 993 (911) TURBO 1995-96
• Porsche 993 (911) GT2 1995-98
• Porsche 993 (911) TURBO S 1995-98 

Featuring a slash-cut, single-wall oval design, these tips provide a clean motorsport-inspired alternative to the original Porsche burnt stainless or chrome-plated exhaust outlets.

They are manufactured from high-quality T304L stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, exhaust heat and repeated thermal cycling.

Fabspeed currently offers three finishes:

• Brushed
• Polished Chrome
• Satin Black Ceramic Coated

The tips can be installed on the factory Porsche exhaust or compatible Fabspeed mufflers that retain the factory-style tip mounting arrangement.

What This Product Does:
Exhaust tips form the final visible outlet of the vehicle's exhaust system.

Their primary function is to direct exhaust gases away from the rear of the car while providing a finished appearance where the exhaust exits the bumper.

The Fabspeed Single Wall Oval Tips are designed to:

• Replace ageing or damaged factory exhaust tips
• Provide a sharper slash-cut appearance
• Give the rear of the 993 Turbo a more purposeful performance look
• Maintain the original Porsche-style mounting arrangement
• Fit factory exhaust mufflers
• Fit compatible Fabspeed mufflers using Porsche-style outlets

These tips are primarily an appearance and exhaust-finishing upgrade rather than a major engine-performance modification.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Factory exhaust tips are exposed continuously to high exhaust temperatures, condensation, soot, moisture and road debris.

Common signs that the original tips may need replacement include:

• Heavy surface corrosion
• Pitting
• Permanent heat staining
• Excessive discoloration
• Scratches or scuffs
• Dents caused by impact
• Bent or distorted outlets
• Loose tip mounting
• Rattling while driving
• Excessive movement when touched
• Poor alignment relative to the bumper
• Cracked mounting areas
• Damaged ball-joint connections
• Heavy soot deposits
• Peeling or deteriorated surface finish
• Exhaust-tip contact with surrounding bodywork

Some heat discoloration and soot accumulation are normal on performance exhaust systems and do not necessarily indicate structural failure.

Why Replacement Matters:
Where an original exhaust tip is only faded or scratched, replacement is mainly cosmetic.

However, a loose, damaged or badly misaligned tip can create additional issues.

A deteriorated exhaust tip may:
