New improved chemistry for modern higher pressure diesels

Sister product to BG 244 from BG Products, BG 245 is a newer premium fuel system cleaner for diesel systems. The BG range is regarded by professionals as the best fuel system cleaners of their kind.

Today’s diesels can produce more power with less fuel than ever before. Injector tips in High Pressure Common Rail injection (HPCR) systems are designed to handle produce twice as much injection pressure as mechanical fuel injection. However, diesel fuel is not, being notoriously inconsistent and therefore a threat to HPCR systems. Injector deposits at a miniscule quantity can cause sticking and carbon begins laying on the fuel filter until it reaches a point of plugging. 

New BG 245 Premium Diesel Fuel System Cleaner removes and dissolves deposits from the entire diesel injection system, including inside fuel injectors and combustion chambers. Plus, BG 245 contains a fuel lubricity agent to protect components from wear and cetane improver for cold starts.

BG DOC Diesel Oil Conditioner is designed to condition oil in modern high-output diesel engines.

Modern diesel engines operate at high temperatures and pressures. This puts a lot of demand on diesel engine oils and the additives they contain. Hydraulically activated fuel injectors increase oil pressures and emissions devices increase soot accumulation in oil. These systems test the limits of engine oil. Under the right conditions, heat causes sulphur from fuel to combine with entrained moisture to create sulfuric acid. This acid wreaks havoc on engines, causing corrosive wear and severe damage to engine components.

BG DOC Diesel Oil Conditioner maintains like-new diesel engine power and performance, neutralises acids and acid corrosion, reduces friction and wear on engine parts, stabilises viscosity, prevents sludge through increased oxidation and soot control.

A revolutionary formula with proven “ring-clean” technology. BG 109 Engine Performance Restoration is a quick and effective blend of cleaners that will soften, emulsify and dissolve those hard to remove fuel gums that clog rings and will usually do it in 15 minutes or less.

Modern engines operate at high temperatures. Combined with prolonged drain intervals and reduced engine cooling, automotive engine oil is under a lot of stress. Continuous thermal and oxidative breakdown contributes to oil thickening, heat retention and deposit formation. Heavy deposits can impede normal piston-ring function; thus reducing fuel economy, lowering power output, and increasing harmful exhaust emissions and oil consumption. Compression will increase with removal of these deposits.
