We sat down with Craig Horvath, the owner and founder of GT One Porsche. He says “I’m the director of GT One Ltd. We have been established since 1998 and been very busy ever since the day we opened the doors. Thanks to all the wonderful people, our suppliers, and above all, all thanks to the good staff and good people that I’m surrounded by makes this possible.”

Craig goes on to say “Fortunately enough to be dealing with a company like Design911, through Tony Malone, who actually set up the account for us and pushed us along to use him more than our other previous suppliers. And fortunately, we’ve never looked back.”

Porsche 1973 Rs Project Car

“Behind me, we’ve got one of the cars that we actually did a full-colour repaint on. So it was a bare metal restrip and a few fabricated components were installed, as in the roof design was changed all to the customer’s spec. And with his help and he aided the bill to get to where it was. We’ve done a lot of restoration type of work on 911. 1973 Rs is right to modern day cars.” (Pictured below).

This beautiful bespoke 1973 RS build was highlighted in the February 2023 issue of 911 & Porsche World, which is available for purchase here.

Ben, Service Manager at GT One Ltd

Ben, the service manager at GT One, has been with the company for almost nine years. He started as an apprentice and has worked his way up to the service manager position, where he is responsible for handling day-to-day operations in the service and repair department. He works closely with his colleague Mike and receives support from Design911, who often provide free stickers and chocolate. Ben enjoys working at GT One and sees a variety of fantastic cars, from classic Porsche models to racing cars. He is excited about the company’s future growth and projects.

Ben goes on to say “The support from Design911 have been absolutely fantastic. They chuck in free stickers and chocolate quite often, but not enough – not as much as we’d like to see, although it probably doesn’t help the waistline!”
