Breather hose from air flow sensor boot "T" Fitting
This original Porsche breather hose forms part of the engine intake / crankcase ventilation system, helping route breather vapours correctly while maintaining the correct sealed connection in the intake system.

Fits:
Porsche 928 S4 / GT 1987 - 1991
 * Engine code: 2841 / 2842 / 2847

Porsche 928 GTS 1992 - 1995

Diagram ref no 27

This hose replaces the earlier Porsche part numbers 92811043201 and 92811043202.

What This Part Does / Functions
•  Routes crankcase breather vapours through the correct intake system path
•  Connects from the air flow sensor boot “T” fitting where specified
•  Helps maintain a sealed intake and breather system
•  Supports correct engine ventilation
Helps prevent unmetered air leaks in the intake system
Replaces a cracked, hardened, split or oil-softened original hose
•  Provides correct OE Porsche hose shape, fitment and connection size
•  Helps maintain smooth idle quality and correct engine running.

Why Replace This Part?
Breather hoses are exposed to heat, oil vapour, engine movement, age and intake vacuum. Over time, the rubber can harden, crack, collapse, split or become oil-contaminated. A damaged breather hose may allow air leaks, vapour leaks or poor crankcase ventilation, which can affect idle quality and engine performance. Replacing it with an OE Genuine Porsche breather hose helps restore the correct factory intake and ventilation layout on the Porsche 928.

Common Symptoms of a Faulty Breather Hose
•   Cracked, hardened or split rubber hose
•   Oil vapour smell from the engine bay
•   Poor idle quality
•   Intake air leak or vacuum leak
•   Engine hesitation or rough running
•   Loose or damaged connection at the “T” fitting
•   Collapsed or softened hose from age and oil vapour
•   Hose damage found during intake system service.

When to Replace This Part
•   If the original hose is cracked, brittle, split or leaking
•   During intake boot or air flow sensor boot replacement
•   When servicing the crankcase breather / ventilation system
•   If an intake air leak is traced to the breather hose
•   During engine bay restoration
•   When replacing aged rubber hoses on a Porsche 928
•   If the hose is oil-softened, loose or no longer sealing correctly
•   When restoring the intake system with OE Genuine Porsche parts.

Where It Fits on the Car
This breather hose fits in the engine intake / crankcase ventilation area of the Porsche 928. It is fitted from the air flow sensor boot “T” fitting and forms part of the engine breather hose routing.

Correct installation is important to ensure the intake system remains sealed and the breather system functions as intended.
