The locking tool fits Porsche 968 with dual mass flywheel. Thus it is not suitable for Porsche 968 Tiptronic models and also not for the 968CS. The CS models require the shorter crankshaft - locking tool of the Porsche 944.

The blocking tool is placed on the mounting points of the starter motor and thus blocks the crankshaft via the ring gear. It is an indispensable special tool for working on the engine. Thanks to the slotted hole, the tool can be applied without play. The component has a high manufacturing quality thanks to waterjet cutting technology and TIG welding process

Made in Germany. The surface is galvanized.

Porsche Classic has also developed a new tool bag for the Porsche 911 G models from the model years 1983 to 1989. The design convinces with the successful combination of leather and black and white pinstripe velour. In the 1980s, this design was a very popular trim level. All metal parts are matte black, reminiscent of the exterior trim elements of the late 911 G models.
In addition to those tools that can also be found in the 911 pocket for the model years 1974 to 1982, there are additional tools for emergency operation in the event of a defective sunroof or window lift motor. Compared to the bags of the early G-models, this bag has a towing eye with a screw thread.
