The CR89000P offers a high-quality replacement solution for a leaking, damaged, corroded or blocked original centre radiator.

Located at the front centre of the vehicle, this radiator forms an important part of the Porsche engine cooling circuit. Coolant heated by the engine flows through the radiator core, where heat is transferred to the surrounding airflow before the cooled fluid returns through the system.

Maintaining an efficient radiator is especially important on high-performance Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS, GT2 RS, Spyder and GT4 models, where the cooling system must manage considerable thermal loads during demanding road or track use.

Why Replace a Coolant Radiator?
Radiators are exposed to road debris, moisture, dirt and repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Over time, deterioration can result in:
  • Coolant leaks
  • Damaged or corroded cooling fins
  • Blocked airflow
  • Internal restriction
  • Damaged plastic end tanks
  • Reduced cooling efficiency
  • Rising coolant temperatures
  • Coolant loss
  • Engine overheating

The centre radiator is positioned at the front of the vehicle and can also accumulate leaves, dirt and debris between the cooling surfaces, which can reduce airflow and accelerate corrosion.

MAHLE Cooling Technology
MAHLE is a major specialist in engine thermal-management and cooling components.

The CR89000P uses a brazed radiator core engineered to transfer heat efficiently from the engine coolant to the airflow passing through the radiator.

The combination of closely spaced cooling fins and internal coolant channels provides a large heat-transfer surface within a compact package.

This makes it a suitable stock-style replacement for the demanding cooling requirements of Porsche Turbo and GT models.
