What This Product Does

This plate provides a location for vehicle identification and paint-code information. During restoration, it helps reinstate identification details where the previous plate has deteriorated or been removed. Verify the information against the vehicle's documented records before any marking or installation.

Functions

• Displays chassis identification details.
• Records the vehicle's paint colour code.
• Replaces a missing or damaged identification component during refurbishment.

Technical Details

• Brand: OE Match.
• Construction: metal plate.
• Part reference recorded in the supplied diagrams: 90170111105.

Symptoms of Fault

• Corrosion affecting the existing plate.
• Lettering that has faded or become difficult to read.
• Bending or other damage from earlier repairs.
• Missing or damaged securing hardware.

Why Replacement Matters

A deteriorated plate can leave identification or paint information difficult to read. Renewal supports a clearly labelled restoration, provided the recorded details are accurate. Compare the original plate, mounting points and vehicle documentation before fitting; do not assume that stamping or fixing hardware is included.
