Rennline Billet Aluminium Hazard Pull Dash Knob

refined, modern finish while preserving the timeless character of the original
dashboard. Precision CNC-machined from solid billet aluminium, this beautifully
engineered hazard pull knob offers exceptional durability and a high-quality
tactile feel that far surpasses ageing plastic originals.
- Porsche 911 1965-1968 2.0L / 912 SWB (F)
Whether your original knob has become cracked, faded, worn
through years of use or has simply gone missing, the Rennline Billet Hazard
Pull Knob is the perfect upgrade. Finished in durable black anodising
and laser engraved for crisp, long-lasting graphics, it delivers a
subtle factory-plus appearance that integrates seamlessly with the rest of the
dashboard.
Designed for enthusiasts who appreciate quality engineering and attention to detail, this billet aluminium knob is a simple upgrade that makes a noticeable difference every time you enter the car.
What Does the Hazard Pull Knob Do?
The hazard pull knob operates the vehicle's hazard warning switch, allowing all indicators to flash simultaneously to alert other road users during breakdowns, emergencies or hazardous situations.
Its primary functions include:
- Activating the hazard warning lights.
- Providing quick access during emergencies.
- Offering a positive and secure grip.
- Improving the appearance of the dashboard.
- Enhancing driver interaction with the controls.
- Completing a premium interior finish.
A high-quality hazard pull knob ensures reliable operation while adding a refined touch to the cabin.
Why Upgrade the Original Hazard Knob?
Original dashboard knobs are frequently exposed to sunlight, repeated handling and general ageing, causing them to deteriorate over time.
Common reasons for upgrading include:
- Cracked or broken original knobs.
- Faded finishes. Worn or damaged graphics.
- Missing dashboard controls.
- Refreshing an ageing interior.
- Creating a cohesive billet aluminium interior theme.
- Improving durability over ageing plastic components.
The Rennline billet aluminium replacement offers a premium solution that combines durability with understated styling.
Benefits
- Modernises the dashboard while maintaining classic styling.
- Replaces cracked, faded or missing original knobs.
- Premium billet aluminium construction.
- Improved durability over ageing plastic.
- Crisp, permanent laser-engraved markings.
- Comfortable and positive operation.
- Long-lasting anodised finish.
- High-quality motorsport-inspired appearance.
Installation Information
Installation is quick and straightforward, but please note that some original dashboard knobs were factory crimped rather than threaded.
Before purchasing, verify that your existing hazard pull knob can be unscrewed from the shaft. If the original knob has been permanently crimped in place, additional work may be required before installation.
For the best overall result, inspect the following during
installation:
- Hazard switch operation.
- Dashboard switch shafts.
- Adjacent dashboard controls.
- Instrument panel trim.
- Dashboard illumination.
- Other ageing dashboard knobs.
Replacing multiple dashboard knobs at the same time helps create a consistent, premium interior finish.
Why Choose Rennline Interior Components?
Rennline has built an outstanding reputation for designing premium Porsche interior upgrades that combine exceptional machining, thoughtful engineering and timeless styling. Every billet aluminium component is manufactured using advanced CNC machining processes before receiving a durable anodised finish and precision laser engraving. The result is a collection of factory-quality upgrades that enhance the appearance, durability and everyday enjoyment of your Porsche without compromising its classic character.

OE Match centre dashboard air vent nozzle designed as a replacement for the original factory air vent used in classic Porsche 911 models equipped with air conditioning. It replicates the original vent’s fitment, shape, and louvre function to deliver correct cabin airflow and OEM-style appearance.
The only difference is that this vent does not come with sliders / adjusters on the sides. You can position the louvres by hand though.
Fits:
Porsche 911 1975 - 1986
Porsche 930 Turbo
Porsche 912E
Diagram ref no 10.
This OE Match version is ideal for vehicles where the original centre vent has faded, cracked, failed to hold position, or has missing adjustment tabs - common issues on older cars due to age and sun exposure.
The centre dashboard air vent directs conditioned or ambient air from the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system into the cabin. It lets occupants adjust airflow direction and volume for comfort, defrosting, or ventilation purposes.
Function:
Installed at the centre of the dashboard, this OE Match vent:
• Channels air from the HVAC system into the cabin
• Allows directional adjustment of airflow
• Helps balance cabin temperature and comfort
• Complements original dashboard aesthetics
Centre air vent assemblies endure heat, sunlight, and repeated adjustment, which can cause them to become brittle, cracked, faded, or loose over time. A failing vent can disrupt airflow, reduce cabin comfort, and detract from the interior’s appearance. Replacing it with an OE Match unit restores proper airflow control, eliminates rattles or misalignment, and improves the visual continuity of the dashboard.
When to replace:
• Vent louvers are stuck, broken, or loose
• Dashboard airflow is restricted or misdirected
• Interior trim looks faded or mismatched
• During HVAC servicing or dashboard restoration
• Prior to resale or show preparation
