This carbon fibre trim provides a stylish alternative to the original dashboard surround, complementing other carbon fibre interior upgrades while retaining the classic Porsche cockpit appearance.

What Does It Do?

The trim enhances the appearance of the instrument cluster surround, creating a sportier dashboard finish without altering the operation of the instruments.

Why Upgrade?

Original dashboard trim can become scratched, faded or worn over time. Rennline's carbon fibre trim provides an attractive solution for refreshing the interior or creating a coordinated carbon fibre styling package.

When Should It Be Replaced?

Consider upgrading when the original trim shows cosmetic deterioration or during a dashboard refurbishment or interior customisation project.

Check compatibility with your vehicle's instrument cluster configuration before ordering.

Installation Notes

Ensure the original instrument cluster area is clean and free from damage before installation. Follow Rennline's fitting instructions to achieve correct alignment and a secure finish.

Porsche 996 Carbon Fibre Dashboard & Instrument Cluster Trim

Rennline Carbon Fibre Gauge Cluster Trim offers a stylish dashboard upgrade for Porsche 996 models, adding a distinctive carbon fibre finish to the instrument cluster area.

What part of your Porsche do you look at the most? If you drive it, then the answer is simple, the gauges. We're not sure what Porsche was thinking when they left that big black flat area below the gauges on the 996, but Rennline has the solution. Our stainless dash plate really dresses up any 996 dash and still allows all the indicator lights to be seen. This simple and easy to install element really defines that classic 5 individual gauge look that Porsche has been famous for since the first 911 was produced in 1964. This dash plate is made out of 300 series stainless steel and comes with a double sided adhesive already applied and ready for a 2 minute installation. Comes with a brushed finish but can easily be painted to suit your individual needs.

Plug and play replacement fascia plate for OEM cupholder
OE Match replacement cupholder fascia for selected Porsche 986 Boxster and 996 models. This plug-and-play trim plate fits the OEM drinks holder, with LHD and RHD versions offered.
Available in LHD or RHD

Fits

Porsche 986 Boxster / S 2003 - 2004
Porsche 996 Carrera 3.6L 2002 - 2005
Porsche 996 Turbo / GT2 / 2002 - 2005
Porsche 996 GT3 2004 - 2005

What This Product Does

The fascia replaces the visible trim plate on the original cupholder. It is intended for renewing damaged or worn trim rather than replacing the complete drinks-holder mechanism.

Functions

  • Replaces the OEM cupholder's fascia plate.
  • Refreshes the appearance of the cupholder trim.
  • Provides a replacement option matched to LHD or RHD layout.

Technical Details

  • Brand: OE Match.
  • Component: replacement fascia for the OEM drinks/cupholder.
  • Installation type: plug-and-play replacement.
  • Version references: 99655218302X and 99655218402X.
  • Associated original references: 9965521830001C, 9965521830201C, 9965521840001C and 9965521840201C.

Symptoms of Fault

Cracks, scuffed surfaces, deteriorating coatings or loose trim may prompt fascia replacement. Check the surrounding mounting points as well: sticking movement, weak springs or broken hinges can indicate a separate cupholder mechanism fault.

Why Replacement Matters

Renewing damaged fascia helps tidy the cupholder area during an interior refurbishment. OE Match focuses on Porsche replacement applications; selecting the correct version remains essential for the intended fit.

FAQs

Is this a complete cupholder?
No. The product described here is the replacement fascia plate for the OEM unit.

Does one version suit both drive layouts?
LHD and RHD versions are offered. Select the version appropriate to your vehicle.

Will it repair a jammed holder?
Fascia replacement does not address faults in the springs, hinges or sliding mechanism. Inspect those components separately.

About Dashboard Parts

Porsche Dashboard Parts | Precision Components for Restoration & Repair

Dashboard parts play a crucial role in your Porsche’s interior design, functionality, and driver experience. From switches, vents, and trims to instrument housings and brackets, these components ensure your dashboard remains solid, stylish, and fully functional. Over time, dashboard parts can wear, crack, or loosen — affecting both aesthetics and usability.

At Design911, we offer high-quality dashboard parts engineered for exact fitment, performance, and finish. Our selection includes everything from dashboard panels and vent covers to switch bezels, mounts, and supporting structures — all crafted to meet or exceed original quality standards.

Whether you’re repairing a damaged dashboard or restoring a classic Porsche interior, our parts ensure precision, durability, and a perfect match to your car’s original design.

What Do Dashboard Parts Do?

Dashboard components work together to provide structure, function, and style within your Porsche’s cockpit.

Core Functions:

  • Support gauges, switches, vents, and multimedia units.
  • Maintain dashboard rigidity and fitment.
  • Protect electrical and mechanical systems behind the fascia.
  • Contribute to the overall design and tactile experience.
  • Provide mounting points for interior accessories and controls.

Properly functioning dashboard parts are essential for maintaining safety, ergonomics, and the refined feel Porsche interiors are known for.

Why Do Dashboard Parts Fail or Degrade?

Even with precision engineering, dashboard parts are exposed to heat, vibration, and wear over time — leading to performance and aesthetic issues.

Common Causes of Failure Include:

  • Cracking or fading from UV exposure.
  • Warping due to heat or material fatigue.
  • Broken clips, mounts, or retaining brackets.
  • Wear and tear from regular use or vibration.
  • Detachment of trim, switches, or vents.

These problems can cause rattling, misalignment, or visual deterioration, reducing comfort and devaluing the interior.

Why Replace Your Porsche Dashboard Parts?

Replacing worn or broken dashboard parts restores the integrity and appearance of your Porsche’s interior. High-quality replacements ensure precise fitment, quiet operation, and a like-new finish — essential for both restorations and modernisation projects.

Key Benefits:

  • Restores dashboard structure and fitment accuracy.
  • Eliminates rattles, loose panels, and faded trim.
  • Ensures compatibility with gauges, switches, and vents.
  • Improves cabin comfort, quality, and resale value.
  • Suitable for Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Macan, and Cayenne models.
  • Ideal for restoration, repair, or interior upgrades.

A refreshed dashboard not only looks better but enhances driver satisfaction and the tactile feel of every journey.

Highlights

  • Premium Porsche dashboard parts and trim components.
  • Precision fitment and durable construction.
  • UV- and heat-resistant materials for lasting performance.
  • Designed for all Porsche models — classic and modern.
  • Ideal for restorations, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Maintains the authentic Porsche interior aesthetic.
