FAQ:
Q1: Is the software updated regularly? Are updates free?
A:
Yes. POR V2.0 includes lifetime free software upgrades. No annual subscription
required.
Q2: What's the difference between POR V2.0
and the newer POR V3.0?
A: The ultimate upgrade of the POR V3.0 over
the POR V2.0 is its newly added Bi-Directional Control (Actuation Tests)
capability and a significantly expanded range of service reset functions, both
of which are completely unsupported on the POR V2.0.
Q3: The POR V2.0 cannot recognize my vehicle
by AutoVIN, does it mean the device is faulty?
A: It doesn’t mean the device is faulty. You
can send your vehicle VIN number to our support team; we will check if AutoVIN
function supports your vehicle. If not available yet, you can manually select
the vehicle model to diagnose, normal functions won’t be affected. Our R&D
team will add your VIN information into the database and release relevant
updates later.
Q4: DTCs can be read normally but fail to be
cleared or reappear after clearance, why?
A: Please keep ignition on and engine off.
Record freeze frame data first before clearing codes.
Persistent hardware faults need physical repair prior to code clearance.
Some fault codes of systems like SRS and ABS
can only be cleared after finishing bidirectional tests.
Q5: The device turns on but cannot establish
a diagnostic connection. What should I do?
A: Please verify your vehicle model and
production year. POR V2.0 supports Porsche models manufactured from 1996 to
2025. Certain service functions for 2024 vehicles are still being optimized.
Disable the vehicle power-saving mode and update your firmware and software to
the latest version.

With the OBD killer we have created a universal solution.
The device cyclically checks for pending and permanent error codes and deletes them.
Error codes or entire classes can be isolated on request.
If an error occurs outside of the expected error classes, the deletion process stops.
Thus, the functionality of the fault memory is maintained.
We present the new generation of the OBD Killer
Teachable
The new OBD killer learns the entered error codes and is therefore suitable for all emission-related, sporadic errors
Automatically
While driving, the engine control unit is monitored for sporadic errors in real time
Fast
Already existing error codes are blocked
Even before an error message is entered
Universal
For almost all vehicles from 2008
(some earlier cars may be supported)
What is the OBD Killer?
"OBD" stands for "on-board diagnostics", the standardized diagnostic interface of motor vehicles.
The OBD Killer is a compact electronics module, which is simply plugged into this diagnostic port.
There it will monitor the error messages of the engine control unit in real time for possible entries.
If a pending error is detected in memory, the OBD Killer blocks it before the driver sees a message on the Instrument Cluster/Check Engine "MIL" is Illuminated.
As soon as there is an error messages of no concern registered, the OBD Killer intervenes immediately,
removes the pending error message before it comes to an entry in the actual fault memory.
If an error code has already been entered before using the OBD killer, it will also be removed.
For which vehicles is the OBD Killer suitable?
The OBD killer can be used on all vehicles from model year 2008.
There are also vehicles that already support the necessary standard in the years before.
These vehicles can be recognized if pins 6 and 14 are occupied at the OBD diagnostic port.
It does not matter if the engine is diesel, gas, natural gas or LPG.
Some engine control units do not support the deletion of fault codes while driving.
For these vehicles, the OBD killer is then not suitable.
Which mistakes does the OBD Killer block?
The OBD killer is capable of learning can generally block all emission-related error codes.
During installation, the OBD killer learns the registered codes as expected errors. This process can be repeated as often as you like.
One of the most common mistakes is e.g. in connection with coked EGR valves code P0401. and the error code P0420 occurs very frequently e.g. aged catalysts.
It also deletes vendor-specific codes that do not conform to the OBD standard.
As soon as there is an error message that has not been "Taught/Programmed", the OBD killer will not intervene.
Thus, the full functionality of fault memory and engine indicator light is retained for all other error messages.
Where is the OBD Killer used?
The OBD killer is ideal for all sporadically occurring, exhaust-related errors such. P0400, P0401, P0402, P0403, P0404, P0405, P0406, P0407, P0408 (exhaust gas recirculation): After a repair of the exhaust gas recirculation, sporadic error messages often occur which often cannot be adequately clarified. The OBD killer is here a cheap alternative to the multiple replacement of all components.
Otherwise the error class of the catalyst (P0420, P0421, P0422, P0423, P0424, P0430, P0431, P0432, P0433, P0434).
Often the engine control unit repeatedly reports a faulty catalytic converter, although it is still in order.
This comes, for example, when using sports catalysts.
For performance increases or unexplained turbocharger problems often occurs the error code P0234: Boost pressure limit exceeded.
What do I do when changing vehicles?
When changing the vehicle, you can continue to use the OBD killer for all vehicles from the year 2008 onwards.
If the OBD killer detects a new chassis number after installation, all learned values will be reset.
The OBD killer then acts as brand new.
Will repairs become superfluous?
No.
If a repair has already been carried out for a fault, but then returns prematurely or reoccurs too frequently or cannot be solved or if no fault was found during diagnostics.
Instead of replacing all the parts again, the OBD killer is the better solution for the wallet and protects the environmental resources.
NB. OBD Killer is not able to display Fault codes and is purely "Taught" which codes to block by plugging the unit into the diagnostic socket, unplugging then plugging back in again. At this point whatever fault code was logged will be blocked or deleted by the OBD Killer. A generic Code reader capable of displaying engine fault codes would be needed when "Teaching" the OBD Killer to check which codes you are teaching it to block/delete.
Only "Teach" codes you know will not harm your vehicle.

Our OBD2 to USB PoCOM interface contains 2 multiplexed ISO9141 K-Lines and L-Line, high-speed CAN-BUS and analog measurement circuits. Supported protocols include KW-71, KW-1281, KWP2000, VW TP1.6, VW TP2.0, ISO15765 and UDS ISO14229.
We do not supply Porsche round connector at this moment. Pre-1996 Porsche models with round Porsche connector are covered, but third party adapter must be used and functionality cannot be 100% guaranteed. Durametric/Sensolutions adapter should work with PoCOM.

WHAT IS SPRINT BOOSTER
"How often do you feel that your car does not respond to your command ?"
"How often do you have to turn off the A/C in order to cross quickly a road with traffic?"
"How often do you feel that your car does not respond when going uphill?"
Automobiles in the 21st century have replaced the more conventional throttle cable technology for an ECM (Electronic Control Module) that translates pedal travel into electronic signals in order to provide power to the wheels. Sprint Booster Pedal
The ETC system (Electronic Throttle Control) – also known as drive-by-wire – has the unfortunate downside of delayed throttle response and subdued acceleration, creating problems in certain circumstances such as up-hill starts, quick gearchanges, overtaking, etc.The Sprint Booster aims to overcome this throttle response delay for ETC-equipped vehicles, providing crisp on-tap acceleration at the driver's disposal.
Sprint Booster might very well be the "smartest" gadget on your car.
It is a device that improves acceleration by continuously measuring and converting the digital signal provided by the ETC's potentiometer, and providing the ECM with a new and altered signal.
The design of the Sprint Booster allows for its easy installation in all models, without the need to cut any wires (plug n' play) or intervene in the automobile's electronics (it does not affect other systems such as electronic injection, ABS, etc.).
The ultra compact design allows the driver to place the selector switch anywhere on the dashboard according his personal preference and convinience
The device comes with 3 Acceleration modes (Off- Sport - Race) and 36 acceleration programs in total (18 manual & 18 automatic) that ensures flexibility and overall control over the car's acceleration.
The new Special features 'Valet mode' & 'Pedal lock' mode allows the driver to disable the acceleration ability (pedal lock) as well as limit the rate of acceleration (Valet mode) when he is not driving his vehicle.
Results
Sprint Booster is aimed at all drivers with ECT-equipped cars, who are after a safer and more exciting automotive experience.
• At low revs, the engine responds at approximately half the time in comparison to before.
• The delay time whilst accelerating in 3rd and 4th gear and the engine in the mid-range, is almost zero.
• Big differences in the higher rev range.
• Improved response for downshifts and safer overtaking.
• Overall safety and more fun on the road!
3 Acceleration Modes
Sprint Booster comes with 3 Acceleration Modes.

The Acceleration programs are switching by pressing the 2 arrow buttons on the top (left to decreace and right to increase).
By selecting the desired acceleration program in each mode the driver can fine-tune By selecting the desired acceleration program in each mode the driver can fine-tune each mode according his driving style (eg select SPORT -9 & RACE-5)
Type Of Transmission
Sprint Booster modes and programs, are transmission type specific for better function and performance.
The driver can select the type of his vehicle transmission through a slide switch located on the right side of the selector switch. The device will automaticaly adjust the programs according the type of transmission selected. There are 36 programs in total (18 for manual transmission & 18 for automatic transmission).
Valet & Pedal Lock Modes
Sprint Booster comes with 2 new special features.
VALET MODE
Valet mode limits the acceleration of the vehicle by 55 % - 65% - 75% (comes in 3 selectable levels). It is activated/deactivated through a 3 digit PIN. By limiting the acceleration there will be a significant reduce in vehicle's performance (Power and Torque).
PEDAL LOCK MODE
The Pedal Lock mode provides extra protection against unauthorized vehicle use. The Pedal Lock mode provides extra protection against unauthorized vehicle use. The driver can deactivate the acceleration ability of the vehicle through a 3 digit PIN.

Porsche Engine Performance Parts, Induction Systems and Power Upgrades
Performance tuning involves optimising airflow, fuel delivery, ignition, cooling, and drivetrain systems to achieve balanced and reliable power gains. Design911 offers a comprehensive range of Porsche engine performance parts, allowing owners to upgrade individual components or build complete performance packages.
Airflow improvements begin with Porsche performance air filters, intake upgrades and performance air induction kits, helping engines breathe more efficiently while improving throttle response. Additional upgrades such as performance plenums and intake upgrades, high-flow Y-pipes, and direct-to-head throttle bodies can further increase airflow and engine responsiveness.
Electronic tuning solutions, including ECU remapping systems, electronic throttle boosters, and ECU readers and fault finders, help optimise calibration, monitor engine health, and extract additional performance from factory systems.
Ignition performance can be enhanced through iridium power spark plugs, iridium racing spark plugs, and plasma direct coils, providing more consistent combustion under high-load conditions.
For complete engine builds and strengthening projects, Design911 stocks Porsche IMS bearings, Porsche engine rods and bolts, Wössner forged piston kits, Wössner steel connecting rods, CP-Carrillo pistons, CP-Carrillo connecting rods, Capricorn Automotive performance engine parts, and Retro Performance pistons and cylinders.
Forced induction upgrades include Porsche turbochargers, diverter valves, performance intercoolers, and complete supercharger kits, allowing significant increases in power when paired with supporting intake, fuelling, and ECU modifications.

Engine Fitment, System Compatibility and Performance Reliability
Correct fitment is essential when modifying engine systems. Every performance component supplied by Design911 is selected to integrate correctly with factory specifications while supporting increased performance demands.
Matched to Original Porsche Engineering Standards
Many Porsche performance upgrades are designed around factory mounting points, tolerances, and system requirements. This helps maintain reliability while improving performance characteristics.
Designed for Complete Engine System Integration
Engine tuning components often work best when installed as part of a complete package. Key systems include:
- Air filters, induction kits, plenums and throttle bodies
- Fuel rails, regulators and ECU calibration systems
