Designed to replace missing, cracked or damaged original end caps, these components help restore the factory appearance of the front windscreen wiper assemblies while protecting the covered mounting areas from dirt and moisture.

Over time, original plastic wiper arm caps can become brittle, loose or damaged through exposure to sunlight, changing temperatures and repeated maintenance.

Supplied as a convenient pair, this OE Match replacement set provides a practical solution for maintaining the appearance and condition of the Porsche Cayenne front wiper arms.

What Do the Front Wiper Arm End Caps Do?

The front wiper arm end caps provide a protective and decorative cover for the relevant wiper arm mounting areas.

They help shield the covered components from dirt, moisture and road contamination while providing a neat, original-style finish.

Although they do not directly operate the windscreen wipers, correctly fitted end caps help maintain the appearance and protection of the wiper arm assemblies.

Why Do They Fail?

Original wiper arm end caps are exposed to weather, sunlight and temperature changes throughout their service life.

Common causes of deterioration include:

• Age-related brittleness of the plastic
• Cracking caused by UV exposure
• Damage during windscreen wiper maintenance
• Broken retaining clips or mounting points
• Accidental loss during wiper arm removal
• General wear and weathering
• Incorrect fitting during previous repairs

Once the retaining features become damaged, the caps may loosen or detach from the wiper arms.

When Should They Be Replaced?

Replacement is recommended when the original end caps become cracked, loose, damaged or missing.

Common signs include:

• Missing wiper arm end caps
• Visible cracks or broken edges
• Loose or poorly fitting covers
• Damaged retaining clips
• Faded or deteriorated plastic
• Exposed mounting areas where a cover should be fitted

Replacing both caps together helps maintain a consistent appearance across the front wiper assemblies.

Installation Notes

Inspect the existing wiper arm mounting areas and remove any damaged original caps.

Check that the retaining points are clean and free from broken plastic fragments or accumulated dirt.

Position the replacement caps correctly and press them into place without excessive force.

Ensure both caps are securely fitted and do not interfere with normal windscreen wiper operation.

This product includes the replacement end caps only and does not include the complete wiper arms, blades or wiper motor mechanism.

The small black plastic cap fits over the wiper-arm mounting nut at the base of the windscreen wiper.

Its purpose is to cover the exposed fastening hardware, helping protect the nut and spindle area from dirt, moisture and road contamination while providing the clean factory-finished appearance intended by Porsche.

Although it is a simple trim component, the cap is positioned in an exposed area at the base of the windscreen and experiences continuous sunlight, rain, temperature changes, car-washing chemicals and repeated disturbance whenever the wiper arm is removed.

Over time, the original cap can fade, become brittle, crack, loosen or disappear completely.

Replacing a damaged or missing cap restores the correct appearance of the wiper assembly and helps keep the wiper-arm retaining hardware protected from unnecessary environmental exposure.

What This Product Does:
The Windscreen Wiper Arm Cap covers the mounting nut that secures the wiper arm to the wiper spindle.

Its main functions are to:

• Cover the wiper-arm retaining nut.
• Protect the fixing from direct rain and moisture.
• Reduce dirt accumulation around the mounting hardware.
• Reduce exposure of the nut and spindle area to road contamination.
• Provide the correct finished appearance at the wiper-arm base.
• Help keep the wiper mounting area tidy.
• Replace a cracked, faded, loose or missing original cap.
• Restore factory-style exterior detailing.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Because this is a protective trim part rather than a moving mechanical component, deterioration is usually visible.

Common signs include:

• Cap completely missing.
• Cracked plastic.
• Split edge.
• Broken retaining tabs.
• Loose fit.
• Cap repeatedly coming off.
• Faded black finish.
• Grey or chalky appearance.
• Warping.
• Distortion.
• Scratches.
• Damage following wiper-arm removal.
• Exposed wiper retaining nut.
• Corrosion visible on the mounting hardware.

Why Replacement Matters:
Replacing a missing or damaged Windscreen Wiper Arm Cap helps restore:

• Protection of the retaining nut.
• Cleaner wiper mounting area.
• Reduced direct moisture exposure.
• Reduced dirt accumulation.
• Correct factory appearance.
• Secure exterior trim fitment.

This wiper blade set clears rain, road spray, dirt, and debris from the windscreen, maintaining clear forward visibility in all weather conditions. It ensures smooth, streak-free wiping and consistent contact across the glass surface.

Function
• Clears water and debris from the front windscreen
• Maintains clear visibility in wet weather conditions
• Provides smooth and quiet wiping performance
• Reduces streaking and uneven wiping
• Ensures correct wiping pattern for RHD vehicles

Wiper blades naturally wear due to UV exposure, dirt, temperature changes, and repeated use. Worn blades can cause streaking, squeaking, poor wiping coverage, and reduced visibility during rain. Replacing the blades restores clear vision, improves driving safety, and protects the windscreen surface from damage caused by hardened rubber edges.

When to replace
•  Streaking or smearing on windscreen
•  Squeaking or chatter during operation
•  Cracked or hardened rubber wiping edge
•  Reduced visibility during rain
•  As part of regular servicing and maintenance
