This original Porsche gas strut supports the front bonnet / front lid when open, helping the bonnet lift smoothly and stay securely raised during inspection, servicing or maintenance.
Sold individually. This damper fits left or right, so the same part can be used on either side where specified.

Designed to support the front bonnet smoothly and securely when opened, the STABILUS 315305 LIFT-O-MAT provides a direct replacement for Porsche OE references 95C823359A and 95C823359B. Pressurised gas inside the damper provides the extension force required to assist bonnet movement and hold it securely in the open position. The 315305 is rated at 330N, providing the specified support force for the Porsche Macan Electric front bonnet application.

Recommended Replacement

Because two dampers work together to support the bonnet, differences in gas pressure between an old and new damper can result in uneven operation. For this reason, replacing bonnet dampers as a pair is generally recommended where both original units have been in service for the same period.
