The Accusump is designed collect pressurized oil from your engine and store it so it may be discharged later during low oil pressure surges to protect against engine damage during demanding racing conditions. After the oil pressure stabilizes, the piston inside the Accusump moves back and forth, pressurizing the Accusump until it equalizes with engine's oil pressure. The Electric Pressure Control Valve we use is for a discharge/refill of 35-40 PSI. These valves have the convenience of an electric valve for remote mounted units on daily drivers but with the rapid refill rate of a manual valve as required in racing. The E.P.C. valving will only allow the Accusump to discharge oil when the engine's oil pressure drops below a predetermined level and only refill when the pressure rises above that level.

The LN Engineering HPDE Accusump kit is easy to install, requiring plumbing of only a single oil line. Our universal Accusump kit has everything you need to carry out a custom Accusump installation in your Boxster, Cayman, or 911, sans wiring or electrical pieces and includes a two quart Marine Accusump system including LN Engineering's Spin-On Full-Flow Oil Filter Adapter, single input sandwich adapter (for easy one-line installation - fits between filter and LN spin on filter adapter), the LN Engineering Billet Washable High Performance Oil Filter, 45 psi electronic valve, hose, and fittings. In conjunction with the installation of an Accusump, we recommend adding an X51 oil baffle and 997 oil return tubes for improved oil control and ensure scavenge oil is returned to the sump as quickly as possible. The ID1700-XDS was designed to fill the gap between the ID1300-XDS and the ID2600-XDS, and like both, it features corrosion resistant internals making it compatible with all known automotive fuels.

A unique magnetic circuit, resulting from a lengthy development program, makes the ID1700-XDS immune to voltage and pressure sensitivity problems that plague other high impedance high flow injectors. The ID1700-XDS excels at high pressures typical of current automotive systems, and will perform flawlessly in these applications.

Application Notes

The ID1700-XDS was designed to be an all fuel compatible injector, capable of very high flow rates. As such, it will most often be used to deliver E85 to boosted engines, or occasionally, gasoline in extreme high horsepower applications. Neither of these applications requires extended linearity at low flow rates, and so this was given a proportionately lower priority during the design process.

The ID1700-XDS will deliver flawless stoichiometric idle and cruise mixtures on E85, but like the ID2600-XDS, should not be expected to do so on gasoline.

If you need flawless drivability on gasoline, the ID1300-XDS will provide this, and is capable of approximately 150hp per injector on E85.

Intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing kit - for Porsche

The 8102 has been developed specifically for the quick and safe removal and replacement of the Porsche IMS (Intermediate Shaft) bearing on the M96 and M97 engines fitted to all water cooled 911, Boxster and Cayman models from 1999 through to 2008. Complete with the camshaft and crankshaft timing tools.

Installation of newest Single Row Pro IMS Retrofit is carried out with newly developed, patent pending method, allowing for positive retention of the new bearing with an internal wire-lock. The installation of a dual row bearing in the place of a single row would not be possible without the specialized tooling and processes. More and more we hear about connecting rod bearings seizing or cylinders becoming scored and destroying Porsche M96 and M97 engines. This all has to do with poor lubrication on banking and high speed corners which can result in high engine oil temperature and oil pump starvation. Introducing our newest component, the backflow preventer (BFP).

Our Remote Oil Filter Adapter Backflow Preventer (BFP) goes directly in place of the original factory oil filter canister allowing for ease of installation of lubrication & pressure accessories such as oil pressure compensator(s), external oil cooler(s) and a larger, metal oil filter element. Our (BFP) also eliminates restrictive filter size spin on oil filter adapters and sandwich plate options by combining the two into one component & integrating a backflow check valve. Two key benefits here is our (BFP) will provide a greater ground clearance allowing for a much larger remote mounted filter to be placed, which will provide a better oil filtration and flow for the engine assembly, as well as the ability to connect & install multiple oil lubrication & cooling accessories.

Some spin-on oil filter kits currently on the market go in place of the original filter canister area, eliminating the possibility of having multiple oil system accessories, forcing you to use either an oil cooler delete plate with external oil cooler, a spin on "sandwich adapter" in conjunction with the spin on filter adapter to connect an accessory OR nothing at all with simply a smaller filter. This will also create ground clearance issues having multiple components sandwiched together with the inclusion of the oil filter, especially on lowered vehicles. The only way to prevent a ground clearance issue on this setup is to use the smallest filter possible. If a spin on filter adapter & sandwich plate are used without the inclusion of a spin on oil filter, ground clearance will not be the issue at hand; the connection of multiple oil lubrication accessories becomes limited and the greater number of items to purchase increases to have the same oil kit solutions found with our (BFP) stage kits. A remote oil filter adapter and filter will still need to be placed. Save time and money with our (BFP).

A sandwich adapter combo with the spin-on oil filter will also require the use of an external oil check valve which has a maintenance life and will need to be replaced overtime. The (BFP)'s integrated check valve has a lifetime service life eliminating the need to replace a check valve.

Smaller filters are a lot more restrictive on their filtration and will have decreased service intervals. Compared to the original factory oil filter element and other smaller spin-on oil filters, the larger oil filter found on our (BFP) kits diminishes dry starts under cold cranking conditions due to its low restriction design & internal anti-drain back valve assuring immediate oil flow. The larger filter also has a greater burst pressure of up to 500psi designed to take pressure spikes in race engines that have higher oil pressure.

Designed to slow down the power steering pump to prevent it from overheating in racing conditions, this pulley will quickly pay for itself by not just saving your pump, but also your weekend at the track.

The pulley is fully balanced and is a 16% reduction. Its weight has been optimized to be 1/2 that of any other under-drive pulley on the market today.
An additional benefit is increased power and torque across the entire RPM range.

A boss on the front of engine case will need to be cut down slightly to clear the smaller pulley size. Comes complete with the crank pulley and a new smaller belt

Increase your engine output by reducing the draw of the engine's ancillaries ie the power steering pump, Air Conditioning, water pump and alternator by slowing them down and reducing the horsepower they use.

Underdrive pulley is one of the cheapest returns for the money spent when it comes to actual performance and horsepower gains for track and street use cars.
