Halo.
Manufactured in the UK, Halo brake fluids are developed using advanced chemical formulations and extensive motorsport testing. Orthene is recognised globally for producing racing brake fluids for hundreds of performance and motorsport brands, with Halo representing the company’s most advanced in-house technology platform.
Designed for GT racing, endurance competition, track day performance, and professional motorsport applications, the Halo range focuses on delivering superior braking consistency lap after lap, especially in high-temperature environments where brake fade and pedal inconsistency can compromise performance.
Halo P1 – Professional Racing Brake Fluid
Halo P1 is the flagship racing brake fluid within the Halo range, developed specifically for the highest levels of professional motorsport. Using an ultra-pure methyl borate ester formulation, Halo P1 achieves an exceptionally high dry boiling point of 341°C (646°F), placing it among the highest-performing racing brake fluids available.
Halo P1 also incorporates Orthene’s proprietary Fade Resistant Technology™, designed to maintain braking confidence during prolonged racing sessions and aggressive braking cycles.
The fluid is widely used across professional GT racing, endurance motorsport, touring car competition, and high-level track applications where braking consistency is critical to lap time performance.
Halo GT – Racing DOT 4 Brake Fluid for Modern ABS Systems
Halo GT expands the Halo range with a high-performance DOT 4 racing brake fluid specifically optimised for modern GT racing platforms and advanced ABS-equipped braking systems. Derived from Halo P1 technology, Halo GT combines ultra-fast hydraulic response with improved pedal modulation and enhanced braking control.
Developed for drivers who demand precise braking performance during aggressive corner entry and throttle transition, Halo GT focuses on delivering faster pressure build-up, quicker piston release, and improved brake modulation under repeated heat cycles.
Unlike conventional performance brake fluids, Halo GT is engineered specifically around modern braking dynamics, helping drivers brake later, release faster, and accelerate earlier out of corners. Orthene positions Halo GT as a competitive performance advantage rather than simply a maintenance consumable.
Why Choose Halo Brake Fluid?
Halo by Orthene products are engineered for drivers and teams who require maximum braking consistency under demanding motorsport conditions. Whether used in GT racing, endurance competition, sprint racing, or track day environments, Halo brake fluids are developed to deliver:
- Exceptional resistance to brake fade
- More consistent pedal feel
- Improved braking precision
- Greater driver confidence
- Enhanced thermal performance
- Motorsport-proven reliability
With decades of specialist expertise and advanced in-house chemical engineering, Halo by Orthene continues to push the boundaries of racing brake fluid performance for modern motorsport applications.
600ml aluminium bottle
Halo GT is the latest formulation with a DOT 4 base suitable for the demands of motorsport (such as low compressibility and low viscosity). It has a dry boiling point of 336 degrees Celsius which is higher than the Brembo HT64. Whilst withstanding the demands of motorsport, Halo GT is suitable for track day use.
Brake Later. Release Faster. Accelerate earlier. Every Lap.
Halo GT is the ultimate DOT 4 racing brake fluid, fully compliant and optimized for the latest racing ABS systems. Engineered for ultra-fast response, thermal stability, and consistent pedal feel under the most demanding race conditions.

Performance benefits
Sharper response. Better control. Faster exits from start to finish.
• Faster hydraulic response under load
• Greater stability through repeated braking cycles
• Quicker piston release for reduced drag
• More precise brake modulation
• Reduced thermal stress in extreme conditions
• Earlier throttle application on corner exit
Speed of Response.
Speed on Track. Modern Braking Systems demand instant response. Halo GT’s ultra-low viscosity allows the brake system to respond faster, improving communication between driver and car.
Faster pressure build-up. Cleaner release. Greater control at the limit.
Brake later. Release faster. Accelerate earlier.
Most races are won in the corner.
Anyone can be fast on the straight. But cornering takes skill. Performance is defined under braking, through release, and on exit. Halo GT is engineered for these moments. Giving drivers the confidence to brake faster, carry speed through the corner, and accelerate earlier. And continue to do that consistently, lap after lap.
For GT drivers who understand Performance.
Not for Everyone. Built for those who demand more.
Also suitable for Semi-Pro, Club Racing and Trackday performance drivers.
Technical Specification.
• 336°C dry boiling point
• Ultra-low viscosity of 1350 cSt
Designed to maintain consistent performance under heat and repeated load, with full data available for detailed evaluation.
