This Adapt Motorsport inlet manifold adapter kit with fuel rails enables Porsche engines with two-bolt cylinder heads to accept 996 GT3 intake manifolds during an EFI conversion. It is offered with 40mm or 42mm ports in an anodised black finish.

The six adapters provide the interface required between the earlier two-bolt cylinder heads and a 996 GT3 intake manifold. Each adapter is machined to the selected cylinder-head port diameter and tapers towards the manifold's 48mm bore.

The compact adapter height helps retain a low overall intake assembly, reducing potential interference between the idle-air control components, intake boot and engine-bay insulation. Injector positioning corresponds with the original CIS injector relief in the intake port, directing the fuel spray into the port when used with a compatible EFI installation.

Why Replacement Matters

This kit is intended for planned EFI and intake-manifold conversions rather than replacement of a standard component. Correct port selection, injector sizing, fuel-system specification and engine-management calibration are required for a complete installation.

FAQs

• Does the kit fit both available port sizes?
  Select either the 40mm or 42mm version to match the cylinder-head intake ports.
• Are fuel injectors supplied?
  No. The adapters accept Bosch 14mm O-ring injectors, but the injectors must be selected separately.
• Is the 996 GT3 manifold included?
  No. The intake manifolds, rubber joiners and associated hose clamps are not part of the adapter kit.
• Can different injector lengths be used?
  The marked fuel-rail spacers can be cut to accommodate long, medium or short injector formats as required by the installation.
