Classic Retrofit's upgraded 240A alternator for classic Porsche 964 and 993 models. A serpentine belt with a tensioner is recommended when installing this unit. For standard double pulley and RS pulley arrangements we recommend the 175A unit.

This UK-manufactured upgrade is the highest output alternator available for your Porsche 964/993. The idle output is in excess of 100A!

This is a brand new unit, not rewound or reconditioned and there is no core charge or exchange. Based on the large-case Denso 6 phase 'hairpin' alternator, the casing has been custom designed to fit all 964 and 993 fan housings. The alternator offers superior efficiency and produces less heat than the original units.
