The CARGRAPHIC 2-Mode Exhaust Valve Control Unit EXFLAPRCOEE92 is a performance exhaust-control upgrade designed for Porsche 992 models equipped with electronic exhaust valves, including the Porsche 992 Turbo and Turbo S 3.8L.

The module is installed between the factory exhaust-valve actuators and the original control system, allowing the driver to override or retain the standard exhaust-valve strategy. This provides greater control over when the exhaust valves remain open while preserving the ability to return to automatic factory operation.  

What This Product Does:

Modern Porsche sports exhaust systems use electronically controlled valves to alter the path of exhaust gases through the system.

Under factory operation, the vehicle determines when these valves open or close according to operating conditions and the original control strategy.

The CARGRAPHIC module overlays this factory control and gives the driver additional control over exhaust-valve operation.

It provides two operating modes:

SPORT Mode – Valves Always Open
Selecting SPORT mode commands the exhaust valves to remain open, providing a more direct and consistently pronounced exhaust character.

AUTOMATIC Mode – Factory Control Active
Selecting AUTOMATIC mode returns exhaust-valve operation to the original factory control strategy.

This allows the driver to switch between continuous open-valve operation and normal Porsche-controlled valve behaviour.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Unlike a conventional service component, the CARGRAPHIC valve controller is primarily a performance upgrade rather than a routine replacement item.

However, if an installed controller or associated wiring develops a fault, possible symptoms can include:

• Exhaust valves failing to respond to commands
• SPORT mode not operating correctly
• AUTOMATIC mode not returning factory valve control
• One or both exhaust valves failing to operate as expected
• Intermittent valve operation
• Remote commands not producing the expected response
• Exhaust sound not changing when modes are selected
• Valves remaining in an unintended position
• Intermittent electrical operation

These symptoms do not automatically mean that the CARGRAPHIC control module itself has failed.

The exhaust-valve actuators, wiring, connectors, factory control system and power supply should also be checked.

Why Installation Or Replacement Matters:
For a compatible vehicle used in the appropriate motorsport environment, fitting the CARGRAPHIC controller provides greater control over exhaust-valve behaviour.

The system can provide:

• Driver-controlled exhaust-valve operation
• Continuous open-valve operation in SPORT mode
• Retention of factory valve operation in AUTOMATIC mode
• A more consistently pronounced exhaust character when the valves are open
• Remote-controlled mode selection
• Programmable exhaust-valve position at engine start
