The OE Match Front 1/4 Glass Seal is a replacement weather seal for the front quarter-glass assembly fitted to selected classic Porsche 911 and 964 Cabriolet and Targa models.
Fits: Left and right side, CABRIOLET OR TARGA models only.

Positioned around the front quarter glass, the seal creates a flexible weather-resistant barrier between the glass and surrounding frame. Its purpose is to help prevent rainwater, wind, dust and road contamination from entering the passenger compartment while also helping the quarter glass sit securely and correctly within the window assembly.

Over many years, the original rubber seal can harden, crack, flatten or shrink as a result of sunlight, temperature changes, moisture and general ageing. Once the seal loses its elasticity, it may no longer conform properly to the glass and frame, resulting in water leaks, wind noise or visible gaps.

Replacing a deteriorated quarter-glass seal helps restore weather protection, reduce cabin noise and preserve the interior and surrounding bodywork.
