Timing Chain.
The IWIS Timing Chain is a replacement internal engine timing component for compatible Porsche applications. It forms part of the engine's mechanical timing system, transferring rotational drive and helping maintain precise synchronisation between associated engine components.

Associated guides, tensioners and sprockets can also deteriorate. Excessive wear can increase chain slack, create abnormal mechanical noise and eventually affect timing accuracy.
