This component is commonly replaced during suspension refurbishment, spring replacement, or preventative maintenance to restore proper rear suspension operation and eliminate unwanted suspension noise or uneven ride height.

The rear coil spring spacer supports and positions the rear coil spring within the suspension assembly. It helps maintain correct ride height, reduces vibration and noise, and ensures stable suspension operation under varying driving conditions.

Function
Positions and supports rear coil spring correctly
Maintains proper rear ride height and suspension geometry
 Reduces vibration and suspension noise
Prevents metal-to-metal contact within suspension assembly
 Helps distribute suspension loads evenly

Over time, suspension spacers can compress, crack, or deteriorate due to repeated suspension movement, load stress, and environmental exposure. A worn spacer may cause suspension noise, uneven ride height, poor spring seating, or increased vibration. Replacing worn spring spacers restores proper suspension support, ride comfort, and chassis stability.

When to replace
  Suspension squeaks or knocking noises
  Uneven rear ride height
Visible cracking or deformation of spacer
During coil spring or shock absorber replacement
  Preventative maintenance during suspension overhaul
