This R Seat frame and foam kit provides an untrimmed, fixed-back bucket-seat foundation for Porsche 911, 964 and 914 applications from 1965–94. Prepared for a 5-point belt arrangement, it allows a chosen upholstery specialist to complete the covering in materials and details suited to the vehicle.

What This Product Does

The seat-shell concept separates the supporting structure and shaped padding from the final upholstery. The kit supplies the principal components needed to establish the seat profile, while the covering material, colour, stitching and finishing work can be completed locally. This approach makes it possible to coordinate the finished seat with a restored, period-style or individually specified interior.

The R Seat shape is based on the supportive seats associated with early rally and racing cars. Its fixed bucket form creates defined back, side and cushion support while retaining an appearance appropriate for a classic Porsche cabin. Duralastic suspension belts provide a flexible base beneath the cushion rather than relying on foam alone.
