This RSR seat shell and foam kit provides the untrimmed foundation for a period-style bucket seat suitable for Porsche 911, 964 and 914 models from 1965 to 1994. Configured for cars retaining 3-point seat belts, it allows the final upholstery to be tailored to the vehicle’s interior. Sold each.

What This Product Does

A seat shell kit separates the supporting structure, suspension and shaped foam from the finished upholstery. Supplying these underlying components together gives an automotive trimmer a prepared base on which to apply leather, vinyl, fabric or another suitable covering. The colour, stitching, piping and other details can therefore be selected to suit a restoration, restomod or existing cabin specification.

The RSR design takes inspiration from the lightweight seats associated with Carrera RS and RSR applications. Its shaped bucket profile provides defined support around the cushion, backrest and sides while retaining a classic competition-style appearance. Duralastic belts beneath the cushion create a flexible supporting platform instead of relying entirely on the foam.
