Diagram ref no 7

The shock absorber bellow is a flexible protective cover fitted around the rear damper assembly. It helps prevent contaminants from reaching the exposed shock absorber rod and associated sealing surfaces as the suspension moves.

Maintaining an intact bellow can help protect the shock absorber from premature wear caused by road dirt and debris.

What this part does
  • Protects the rear shock absorber rod from dirt and road debris
  • Helps shield the damper sealing area from contamination
  • Supports longer shock absorber service life
  • Moves with the suspension during compression and rebound
  • Suitable for left or right rear suspension
  • Replaces torn, split or deteriorated original bellows
  • Ideal for shock absorber replacement or rear suspension overhaul
  • Supplied as an OE Match replacement part

Why Replace This Part?
Shock absorber bellows are exposed to constant suspension movement, road contamination, moisture and temperature changes. Over time, the flexible material can split, tear or deteriorate. A damaged bellow can leave the shock absorber rod exposed to dirt and debris, which may contribute to wear of the damper rod and seals.

When to Replace This Part
  • Existing bellow is split or torn
  • Rubber has hardened or deteriorated
  • Shock absorber rod is exposed
  • Rear shock absorbers are being replaced
  • Rear suspension is being refurbished
  • Original bellow is missing or damaged

Where it fits on the car
Fits on the rear axle shock absorber assembly.
