The shock absorber centring ring is a locating component fitted within the rear damper assembly. It helps position the shock absorber and adjoining mounting components correctly within the suspension assembly. This version has a 3.0mm specification and is identified by yellow colour coding.

What this part does
  • Helps centre and locate the rear shock absorber assembly
  • Supports correct positioning of adjoining suspension components
  • Helps maintain the intended damper mounting arrangement
  • Provides the specified 3.0mm fitment
  • Yellow identification for specification recognition
  • Suitable for rear shock absorber replacement or suspension overhaul
  • Replaces worn, damaged or missing centring rings

Why Replace This Part?
Shock absorber mounting components are exposed to continuous suspension movement, vibration, moisture and road contamination. Over time, centring rings can become worn, corroded, damaged or distorted.

Replacing damaged or incorrect mounting components helps ensure the rear shock absorber assembly is correctly located and installed.

When to Replace This Part
  • Rear shock absorber is being replaced
  • Existing centring ring is worn or damaged
  • Ring is corroded or distorted
  • Original component is missing
  • Rear suspension is being rebuilt
  • Correct 3.0mm centring ring specification is required

Where it fits on the car
