Constructed from robust, wear-resistant materials, the clevis pin is designed to withstand constant movement, mechanical loads and vibration associated with everyday clutch operation. Although small in size, it is a critical component that helps maintain smooth clutch engagement, consistent pedal feel and reliable gear selection.

What This Product Does:

Connects the clutch cable to the clutch pedal or linkage assembly.
Transfers pedal movement to the clutch operating mechanism.
Maintains correct clutch cable alignment.
Allows smooth pivoting movement within the linkage system.
Supports accurate clutch engagement and disengagement.
Helps maintain consistent clutch pedal feel.
Contributes to reliable clutch and transmission operation.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:

Excessive play in the clutch pedal.
Loose or inconsistent clutch pedal feel.
Increased free play within the clutch linkage.
Difficulty engaging or disengaging the clutch.
Difficulty selecting gears.
Rattling noises from the pedal or linkage area.
Uneven or inconsistent clutch operation.
Visible wear, corrosion or deformation of the pin.
Clutch cable disconnection in severe cases.

Why Replacement Matters:

The clutch cable clevis pin is subjected to repeated movement and mechanical loading every time the clutch pedal is pressed. Over time, wear can develop on the pin and its contact surfaces, resulting in excessive play within the linkage system. Corrosion, fatigue or physical damage can further reduce the pin's effectiveness and reliability.
A worn or damaged clevis pin can lead to imprecise clutch operation, poor pedal feel and increased wear on surrounding linkage components. If left unresolved, the pin may fail completely, potentially causing loss of clutch control and making gear changes difficult or impossible.
Replacing a worn clutch cable clevis pin restores proper linkage operation, improves clutch pedal response and helps ensure reliable clutch performance. An OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, dependable durability and long service life, helping maintain the smooth operation and driving characteristics of your Porsche.
