Over time, the original loudspeaker lid cover can become cracked, warped, faded, or damaged through age, UV exposure, and regular use. A deteriorated cover not only detracts from the appearance of the cabin but can also leave the loudspeaker and surrounding components vulnerable to accidental damage and dirt ingress. Replacing the damaged cover restores both protection and the authentic appearance of the interior. This OE Match loudspeaker plastic lid cover is ideal for maintenance, interior repairs, and Porsche restoration projects.
What This Product Does:
- Protects the loudspeaker housing from damage and contamination.
- Restores the original appearance of the interior trim.
- Provides a neat, factory-style finish.
- Helps conceal the loudspeaker installation.
- Replaces cracked, faded, warped, or damaged original covers.
- Complements the surrounding interior components.
- Provides an OE-style fit and dependable quality.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Cracked or broken plastic cover.
- Faded or discoloured finish.
- Warped or distorted lid.
- Loose or poorly fitting speaker cover.
- Scratches or impact damage.
- Missing loudspeaker lid cover.
- Interior refurbishment or restoration requiring replacement trim components.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The loudspeaker plastic lid cover is both a protective and cosmetic interior component, helping to shield the loudspeaker from accidental damage while maintaining the original factory appearance of the vehicle's cabin. A cracked, faded, or missing cover can detract from the quality of the interior and leave the speaker assembly exposed to dirt and damage.
- Replacing a worn or damaged cover restores the original finish of the interior and helps preserve the loudspeaker installation for years to come. Manufactured as a direct replacement and produced to OE-style specifications, this OE Match Loudspeaker Plastic Lid Cover provides the correct fit, dependable quality, and long-lasting durability, making it an excellent choice for Porsche maintenance, repairs, and restoration projects.

Manufactured to factory specifications, it replicates the original cardboard-backed trim panel with integrated fixing points, ensuring correct fitment and authentic appearance.
Fits:
Porsche 911 08/1968 - 07/1975

Section of diagram ref no 32
Installed inside the front luggage compartment (front boot area), the panel covers the front bulkhead and heater/ventilation components, creating a clean and finished appearance while helping protect internal systems from debris and accidental contact. It also contributes to the original interior presentation of the luggage compartment.
Designed for both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles, the panel is precision-cut to OE dimensions for straightforward installation using factory mounting points.
This component is ideal for restoration, refurbishment, or replacement of warped, damaged, or deteriorated original trunk trim panels in classic Porsche 911 models.
The luggage compartment dash cover conceals and protects the front bulkhead, ventilation, and heating components inside the front trunk area. It improves the appearance of the luggage compartment while helping shield internal systems from dirt and damage.
Function
• Covers front luggage compartment bulkhead area
• Protects ventilation and heating system components
• Restores factory-correct trunk appearance
• Helps reduce exposure to dirt and debris
• Provides clean and finished interior presentation
Original luggage compartment trim panels often deteriorate with age due to moisture, heat, and repeated handling. Warped or damaged panels can leave internal components exposed and reduce the overall appearance of the trunk area. Replacing the panel restores the original factory look and helps maintain a clean, protected luggage compartment.
When to replace
• Original panel is warped, damaged, or missing
• Visible deterioration from moisture or age
• Loose or broken mounting points
• During front trunk restoration or refurbishment
• To restore original factory appearance

This cover conceals and protects the bulkhead area of the luggage compartment, providing a clean trimming surface and helping to reduce noise, vibration or thermal transfer from adjacent structure. It restores the OEM interior finish behind the luggage area and supports mounting points for side panels or carpeted trims.
Original covers often suffer from wear, warping, sagging or damage due to age, exposure to heat, moisture or luggage loads. A compromised cover may detach, rattle, or deteriorate the appearance of the boot/trunk area. Installing a quality replacement restores correct fit, improves aesthetics and region-specific mounting integrity.

When removing the radio, it was impossible to find a replacement cubby that fit perfectly, maximized the space, and looked like it was meant to be there. All aftermarket cubbies were either too thin, poorly fitting, or impossible to mount, and none of them had a well-finished surround trim.
Now offering this radio delete cubby pocket to anyone who wants to utilise the space for more storage instead of using available block-off plates. The pocket is made from PA12 nylon, making it very durable and resistant to heat, chemicals, and wear. The finish texture resembles typical car plastic parts.
Inside dimensions of the pocket:
Width: 177mm / 6.95"
Height: 44mm / 1.73"
Depth: 102mm / 4" (deep enough to hold a phone but not too deep to make it hard to pull items out)
Installation involves sliding the pocket into the opening, then sliding four retaining blocks (three on the bottom, one on the top) from the back of the pocket into the guides. These blocks securely attach the pocket against the metal dash. After the blocks are in place, use a thin needle or nail to align the nuts inside the blocks with the holes in the pocket. Finally, fasten everything with seven screws (this needs to be done inside the pocket, so it’s best to use a Phillips head screwdriver attachment; finger tight should be enough—do not over-tighten).
