Based on the distinctive competition seat designs originally developed by Sparco for rally and motorsport applications, the Dakar combines an unmistakable period racing appearance with a strong structured shell, low seating position and Duralastic support system.

Designed with competition and Clubsport-style builds in mind, the Dakar can be specified with openings for 5 or 6-point harness systems and can be installed using side mounting brackets for additional adjustment of seat height and angle.

Group B Rally-Inspired Design

Group B produced some of the most extreme rally cars ever created, where lightweight construction, driver support and strength were essential.

The Dakar recreates the distinctive appearance of the competition seats associated with this era while incorporating features that make it suitable for classic rally, restomod and Clubsport projects.

Its name pays tribute to the legendary Dakar Rally, an event renowned for pushing both vehicles and drivers through exceptionally demanding conditions.

Lightweight Fibreglass Shell

The Dakar uses a lightweight fibreglass shell designed to combine rigidity with reduced weight.

Unlike conventional tubular-frame seats, the shell uses a structured layout that adds strength and stiffness in the areas where additional support is required.

This creates a solid and supportive seating platform suitable for performance-focused applications while retaining the distinctive appearance of a period rally seat.
