Including one centre radiator, two coolant hoses and four rubber mountings, this seven-piece kit helps restore cooling performance, reliable coolant circulation and secure radiator installation. Ideal for cooling system repair, radiator replacement or preventative maintenance.
Complete 7-piece kit – sold as one set.

Fits:
Porsche 991.1 Turbo / Turbo S 3.8L 2014 - 2016
Porsche 991.2 Turbo / Turbo S 3.8L 2016 - 2019

Diagram ref no 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7

What This Kit Does
The Porsche 991 Turbo cooling system uses multiple front-mounted radiators to help regulate engine operating temperature. The centre radiator provides additional cooling capacity by transferring heat from the circulating coolant to the surrounding airflow. The connecting coolant hoses maintain coolant flow through the radiator, while the upper and lower rubber mountings secure the radiator in position and help isolate vibration. Replacing these components together helps restore the original cooling system arrangement.

Key Features
  • Complete centre radiator replacement package.
  • Suitable for selected Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S models.
  • Includes one centre coolant radiator.
  • Includes both centre radiator connecting hoses.
  • Supplied with two upper and two lower rubber mountings.
  • Helps restore coolant circulation and cooling efficiency.
  • Replaces worn, leaking or damaged original cooling components.
  • Ideal for radiator repairs, front-end restoration and cooling system maintenance.

Why Replace This Kit?
Radiators and coolant hoses are exposed to repeated heat cycles, cooling system pressure, vibration and road debris. Over time, radiator cores may become corroded or damaged, coolant hoses can deteriorate and rubber mountings may harden or split.

Replacing the centre radiator, hoses and mountings together reduces the risk of retaining worn components during a major cooling system repair.

Common Reasons for Replacement
  • Coolant leaking from the centre radiator.
  • Cracked or damaged radiator core.
  • Deteriorated coolant hoses.
  • Low coolant warning.
  • Cooling system pressure loss.
  • Damaged or compressed rubber mountings.
  • Front bumper or radiator impact damage.
  • Reduced cooling performance.
  • Complete centre radiator refurbishment.

Where It Fits on the Car
This kit fits within the front centre radiator assembly, behind the front bumper. The radiator connects to the engine cooling circuit through the supplied coolant hoses and is supported by the upper and lower rubber mounting bushes.

Why Replace the Radiator and Pipes?
Radiators and coolant pipes are exposed to heat cycles, road debris, corrosion and cooling system pressure. Over time, the radiator core or connecting pipework may develop leaks or damage.

Common reasons for replacement include:
  • Coolant leakage
  • Damaged or corroded pipes
  • Radiator core damage
  • Higher than normal coolant temperatures
  • Front-end accident damage
  • Cooling system refurbishment
  • Age-related deterioration of coolant components

Replacing the radiator and associated pipes together helps restore the integrity of the centre cooling circuit.

Diagram Ref No 23

Although small, this rubber mounting bush plays an important role in stabilising the radiator assembly while absorbing vibration and movement generated by the engine, road surface and cooling fans.

What This Radiator Mounting Bush Does

The lower radiator mounting bush sits between the radiator and the chassis mounting point. It helps secure the radiator in place while isolating vibration.

This component helps:

• Secure the radiator within the cooling system frame
• Absorb vibration and movement from the engine and road
• Prevent stress damage to the radiator housing
• Maintain proper radiator alignment with cooling ducts and fans

Without these bushes functioning correctly, the radiator may move excessively, leading to premature wear or cooling system issues.

Why Radiator Mounting Bushes Fail

Over time, rubber components within the engine bay are exposed to heat, moisture and road debris. This can cause the bush material to deteriorate.

Common causes of failure include:

Heat degradation
Continuous exposure to engine bay temperatures can cause rubber to harden and crack.

Compression fatigue
Years of supporting the radiator weight can flatten or weaken the bush.

Oil and coolant contamination
Exposure to fluids may accelerate rubber deterioration.

General ageing
Rubber components naturally degrade over time and lose elasticity.

Symptoms of a Worn Radiator Mount Bush

• Loose or unstable radiator positioning
• Rattling or vibration from the front cooling system area
• Visible cracking or deterioration of the rubber mount
• Radiator sitting lower or misaligned within the mount

Replacing worn mounting bushes restores proper support and reduces unwanted vibration in the cooling system.

Why You May Need to Replace This Part

Protect the Radiator Assembly
A stable radiator prevents stress on coolant connections, hoses and fittings.

Reduce Vibration and Noise
New bushes absorb vibration and prevent rattling from the radiator frame.

Prevent Cooling System Damage
Loose radiators can lead to cracked plastic tanks, hose strain or coolant leaks.

Affordable Preventative Maintenance
Replacing small rubber mounts during cooling system service or radiator replacement helps extend the life of the entire system.

Diagram Ref No 23

Although small, this rubber mounting bush plays an important role in stabilising the radiator assembly while absorbing vibration and movement generated by the engine, road surface and cooling fans.

What This Radiator Mounting Bush Does

The upper radiator mounting bush sits between the radiator and the chassis mounting point.

The CR89000P offers a high-quality replacement solution for a leaking, damaged, corroded or blocked original centre radiator.

Located at the front centre of the vehicle, this radiator forms an important part of the Porsche engine cooling circuit. Coolant heated by the engine flows through the radiator core, where heat is transferred to the surrounding airflow before the cooled fluid returns through the system.

Maintaining an efficient radiator is especially important on high-performance Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS, GT2 RS, Spyder and GT4 models, where the cooling system must manage considerable thermal loads during demanding road or track use.

Why Replace a Coolant Radiator?
Radiators are exposed to road debris, moisture, dirt and repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Over time, deterioration can result in:
  • Coolant leaks
  • Damaged or corroded cooling fins
  • Blocked airflow
  • Internal restriction
  • Damaged plastic end tanks
  • Reduced cooling efficiency
  • Rising coolant temperatures
  • Coolant loss
  • Engine overheating

The centre radiator is positioned at the front of the vehicle and can also accumulate leaves, dirt and debris between the cooling surfaces, which can reduce airflow and accelerate corrosion.

MAHLE Cooling Technology
MAHLE is a major specialist in engine thermal-management and cooling components.

The CR89000P uses a brazed radiator core engineered to transfer heat efficiently from the engine coolant to the airflow passing through the radiator.

The combination of closely spaced cooling fins and internal coolant channels provides a large heat-transfer surface within a compact package.

This makes it a suitable stock-style replacement for the demanding cooling requirements of Porsche Turbo and GT models.
