AirTag Key Replacement Kit.
The AirTag Upgrade Key Kit CCP55 from Black Dog Projects (BDP) is a premium Porsche key conversion kit designed to modernise classic Porsche keys while incorporating discreet Apple AirTag tracking functionality. The kit allows owners to transfer the internals from their existing OEM key into a newly machined housing without specialist tools or reprogramming, creating a more refined, durable, and trackable key solution. The design is CNC-machined from billet steel, incorporates an integrated AirTag compartment, and is compatible with a range of classic Porsche models and key shanks ( 91153890300 and  HU66) .
Please note: Apple AirTag is not included with the key head. Needs to be bought separately.

What This Product Does:

  • This lock cylinder assembly sits behind the external door handle and is the mechanism which allows the door to be locked or unlocked via key from the outside.
  • The keyed lock cylinder ensures security (locks the door), and the “coded” aspect ensures compatibility with the vehicle key system (which can include central locking or key-matched sets).
  • Correct fitment ensures the door handle and lock engage properly, the key insertion is correct, the internal mechanism aligns and the lock both secures the door and allows smooth access.

Symptoms Of Wear Or When You Should Replace It:
  • Key won’t turn, sticks or is difficult to insert—in the door handle lock area. This suggests the cylinder may be worn, corroded or jammed.
  • Door won’t lock or unlock via the key from outside, or the key simply spins freely indicating internal cam/shear failure.
  • Mismatched key numbers: if the door lock is not operating with your existing key, or you have two different keys for left/right doors and want to unify them.
  • Corrosion or damage: the lock barrel may show signs of rust, binding, broken mounting tabs or wear of the key slot—common after many years of service.
  • After bodywork or door replacement: If the door or handle assembly has been replaced or re-painted, the lock cylinder might be damaged or mismatched—installing a correct coded cylinder ensures proper fit.
  • When restoring the vehicle or upgrading security: a key-matched cylinder ensures your doors work with the master key and reduces the number of keys.
