The original Boxsters built during that period only featured PVC windows so this hood was never an original hood, but makes it possible to fit this model with a glass window.
The glass window is a little smaller than the PVC window because the frame's folding mechanism does not allow for a larger (non-folding) glass window.

You will need to retain the original metal central pinion from the broken factory plastic gear being replaced.
