Front / Rear bumper hex nut, M8.
Hex nut for the front or rear bumper mounting assembly on Porsche 911 (1974–1989) models. Manufactured to match Porsche specifications, this M8 hex nut ensures accurate fitment, strong clamping force, and long-lasting durability for your bumper installation or restoration.
Sold Each.

Fits:
Porsche 911 G-models 1974 - 1989
Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0L, 3.3L 1975 - 1989

Diagram Ref No 15 (Front bumper) / no 22 (Rear bumper)

This hex nut fastens the bumper brackets and mounting hardware to the chassis structure. Its precise thread pitch and corrosion-resistant finish ensure consistent torque retention, reliable alignment, and vibration-free bumper support in all driving conditions.

Over time, moisture, vibration, and age can cause original hardware to rust, seize, or lose clamping strength. Aged nuts may compromise bumper alignment or make disassembly difficult during service or repainting.

When to Replace:
During front or rear bumper removal, alignment, or restoration.
If existing hardware is rusted, stripped, or corroded.
•  As part of preventive maintenance during bodywork or repainting.

OE Match Rubber Sleeve, designed for the bumper impact tube on classic Porsche 911 models. Fits:

  • Porsche 911 1974-1977 2.7L / 1976-77 3.0 Carrera
  • Porsche 911 1978-1983 3.0L / SC

Diagram ref no 18

Whether you're carrying out a full restoration or replacing worn bumper hardware during routine maintenance, this OE Match rubber sleeve delivers the fit and durability expected from an original-style component.

What Does the Rubber Sleeve Do?

The rubber sleeve fits around the bumper impact tube and acts as a protective interface between the bumper mounting system and the vehicle body. Its functions include:

  • Providing a flexible seal around the impact tube.
  • Preventing metal-to-metal contact between components.
  • Reducing vibration and movement within the bumper assembly.
  • Helping keep dirt, moisture and road contaminants away from the mounting area.
  • Maintaining the correct positioning and appearance of the bumper.

Although small, this component plays an important role in preserving both the functionality and longevity of the bumper mounting system.

Why Do Rubber Sleeves Fail?

Like all rubber components, bumper impact tube sleeves naturally deteriorate with age and environmental exposure. Common causes of failure include:

  • UV exposure causing the rubber to harden and crack.
  • Heat cycles leading to loss of elasticity.
  • Oil, grease and road chemicals degrading the material.
  • Moisture ingress accelerating ageing.
  • Compression over many years causing permanent deformation.
  • Damage during bumper removal or accident repairs.

As the sleeve deteriorates, it may split, perish or lose its ability to seal and cushion the impact tube effectively.

When Should the Rubber Sleeve Be Replaced?

The rubber sleeve should be inspected whenever the front or rear bumper is removed, particularly during restoration work, accident repairs or bumper refurbishment. Replacement is recommended if the sleeve shows signs of:

  • Cracking or splitting.
  • Hardening or loss of flexibility.
  • Perishing or surface deterioration.
  • Distortion or compression.
  • Missing or damaged sealing surfaces.

Replacing aged rubber components during restoration helps preserve the original fit, reduces future maintenance and ensures the bumper assembly remains securely supported.

" T " Screw For Front / Rear Bumper Deco Moulding.
The OE Match "T" Screw for Front / Rear Bumper Deco Moulding is a premium-quality replacement fixing designed to securely retain the decorative bumper mouldings on compatible Porsche models. Manufactured to OE specifications for fit, strength and durability, this precision-engineered T-shaped fastener provides a secure mounting point for the front and rear bumper trim, helping maintain the original appearance and correct fitment of the bumper assembly.
Sold Each.
x8 Required Per Car.

Fits:
  • Porsche 911 1965-1968 2.0L / 912 SWB (F)
  • Porsche 911 1968-1973 2.2L / 2.4L / 2.7L RS LWB (F)

Diagram Ref No 4 And 6

Manufactured from high-quality corrosion-resistant steel, the T screw is engineered to withstand continual exposure to road spray, moisture, vibration and varying temperatures. Its precision-machined thread and OE-style T-head design ensure correct engagement with the bumper moulding and retaining hardware, providing reliable installation during restoration, accident repair or routine trim replacement.

What This Product Does:
  • Secures the front and rear bumper decorative mouldings.
  • Maintains correct alignment of the bumper trim.
  • Prevents movement or loosening of the moulding.
  • Provides a secure fixing point for the bumper assembly.
  • Helps preserve the factory appearance of the vehicle.
  • Resists corrosion and vibration during normal driving.
  • Provides direct OE-style fitment.
  • Forms an essential part of the bumper trim mounting system.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
  • Loose or rattling bumper mouldings.
  • Misaligned decorative bumper trim.
  • Missing or damaged fixing hardware.
  • Corrosion affecting the fastener.
  • Stripped or damaged threads.
  • Difficulty securing the moulding correctly.
  • Trim lifting away from the bumper.
  • Increased vibration or movement of the moulding while driving.
  • Cosmetic deterioration due to insecure trim.
  • Risk of bumper moulding becoming detached.

Why Replacement Matters:

  • The bumper moulding fixing hardware is continually exposed to water, road salt, dirt, vibration and temperature changes. Over time, the original fasteners can corrode, seize, lose their clamping force or become damaged during removal, reducing their ability to securely retain the decorative mouldings.
  • A damaged or missing T screw can allow bumper trim to become loose, vibrate or separate from the bumper, affecting both the appearance of the vehicle and the security of the moulding. Reusing worn fixings during restoration may also prevent correct alignment and lead to premature trim failure.
  • Replacing worn or damaged fasteners with the OE Match "T" Screw restores secure attachment of the front and rear bumper decorative mouldings. Manufactured to OE standards from premium corrosion-resistant materials, this replacement fixing provides factory-style fitment, reliable retention and long-lasting durability, making it the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, repair and preventative maintenance.
