Diagram Ref No 1

Designed to fit along the relevant side member/body area, this trim provides both a protective and finishing function. It covers the underlying mounting area, helps shield adjacent surfaces from everyday road contamination and contributes to the clean, factory appearance of the vehicle's exterior.

Side member trim is particularly exposed to road dirt, stones, kerbs, cleaning chemicals and accidental contact. Over time, the original component can become scratched, cracked, loose, faded or physically damaged. Replacement restores secure fitment and the intended Matt Black exterior finish.

What This Product Does:
The side member trim forms part of the vehicle's exterior body finishing system.

Its primary functions include:

  • Covering the relevant side member area
  • Providing a clean factory-finished appearance
  • Helping protect underlying and adjoining surfaces
  • Reducing direct exposure to road dirt and debris
  • Concealing mounting points and structural areas where applicable
  • Maintaining the intended exterior body styling
  • Providing a correctly shaped transition between surrounding body components

Although primarily a body trim component, correct fitment is important for both appearance and protection.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Common signs that replacement may be required include:

  • Deep scratches or scuffs
  • Cracks or splits
  • Chipped or broken sections
  • Damaged edges
  • Broken mounting tabs
  • Missing clips or mounting points
  • Trim becoming loose
  • Gaps between the trim and body
  • Rattling or movement while driving
  • Warping or distortion
  • Faded or discoloured finish
  • Impact or kerb damage
  • Damage following accident repairs
  • Previous incorrect removal or installation

Minor surface marks may be purely cosmetic, while cracks or damaged mounting points can affect the security and alignment of the component.

Why Replacement Matters:
Replacing a damaged side member trim helps restore both the appearance and physical integrity of the exterior trim system.

A new replacement can help:

  • Restore the original Matt Black finish
  • Correct cracked or broken trim
  • Restore proper alignment
  • Eliminate loose or rattling sections
  • Cover and protect the intended body area
  • Maintain consistent panel gaps
  • Replace damaged mounting points
  • Restore a factory-style exterior appearance

While cosmetic damage does not always require immediate replacement, loose or insecure exterior trim should be addressed before it deteriorates further or becomes detached.

  • Porsche Boxster S 986 3.2L 2003-04

Diagram Ref No 10

The clutch hydraulic system uses pressurised fluid to transfer movement from the clutch pedal to the clutch release mechanism. The hydraulic clutch pipe provides a sealed route for this fluid between the relevant hydraulic components, allowing the clutch to engage and disengage correctly when the pedal is operated.

A leaking, corroded or damaged clutch pipe can cause loss of hydraulic pressure, making gear changes difficult and potentially preventing the clutch from disengaging altogether. Because clutch operation depends on maintaining a sealed hydraulic circuit, any confirmed fluid leak or significant pipe deterioration should be addressed promptly.

What This Product Does:
The hydraulic clutch pipe carries hydraulic fluid under pressure through the clutch operating circuit.

When the clutch pedal is pressed, the hydraulic system generates pressure. This pressure is transmitted through the clutch line to operate the clutch release mechanism.

The pipe therefore helps:

  • Transfer hydraulic pressure through the clutch system
  • Allow the clutch to disengage when the pedal is pressed
  • Support smooth and consistent clutch operation
  • Maintain a sealed hydraulic fluid circuit
  • Provide reliable communication between clutch hydraulic components

If the pipe cannot retain pressure, normal clutch operation can be compromised.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Common symptoms of a damaged or leaking clutch hydraulic pipe can include:

  • Visible hydraulic fluid leakage
  • Damp or wet areas around the pipe
  • Fluid around pipe connections
  • Falling hydraulic fluid level
  • Soft or spongy clutch pedal
  • Clutch pedal travelling further than normal
  • Clutch pedal remaining close to the floor
  • Inconsistent clutch operation
  • Difficulty selecting gears
  • Grinding when attempting to select a gear
  • Clutch failing to disengage fully
  • Loss of clutch operation in severe cases
  • Visible corrosion or physical damage to the pipe

These symptoms can also be caused by other clutch hydraulic components, so proper diagnosis is important.

Why Replacement Matters:
Replacing a damaged, corroded or leaking hydraulic clutch pipe helps restore the integrity of the clutch hydraulic circuit.

A sound replacement pipe helps:

  • Maintain hydraulic pressure
  • Prevent hydraulic fluid loss
  • Prevent air entering the system
  • Restore consistent clutch pedal operation
  • Allow complete clutch disengagement
  • Improve reliable gear selection
  • Reduce the risk of sudden loss of clutch operation
  • Protect associated transmission components from poor clutch disengagement

A small hydraulic leak can eventually become a complete loss of clutch operation, so early replacement is preferable once the pipe is confirmed to be defective.

A seal can also look relatively intact while having lost the flexibility required to form an effective barrier.
Why Replacement Matters:
Replacing a deteriorated convertible top stowage box seal helps restore the protective barrier around the roof-storage area.

A new seal can help:

  • Prevent unwanted water ingress
  • Keep dirt and debris away from protected areas
  • Restore correct sealing pressure
  • Protect surrounding trim
  • Reduce the possibility of moisture-related corrosion
  • Maintain correct panel contact

Diagram Ref No 8

The line forms part of the turbocharger's supporting fluid circuit, providing a secure connection between the relevant engine and turbocharger components. Correct fluid delivery is particularly important around a turbocharger because the unit operates at extremely high rotational speeds and temperatures.

A damaged, leaking, restricted or deteriorated pressure line should be replaced promptly. Loss of fluid supply or leakage around the turbocharger can contribute to poor lubrication, contamination of surrounding components and potentially expensive turbocharger or engine damage.

What This Product Does:
The turbocharger relies on the engine's lubrication system to provide oil to its internal bearing assembly.

The pressure line provides a controlled route for pressurised engine oil to reach the relevant turbocharger assembly.

This oil performs several important functions:

  • Lubricates the turbocharger bearings
  • Helps reduce friction
  • Supports reliable turbocharger operation
  • Helps manage heat within the bearing assembly
  • Protects rapidly rotating internal components
  • Maintains the required oil supply to the turbocharger

Because turbocharger shafts can rotate at extremely high speeds, maintaining the correct oil supply is essential.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
A deteriorated turbocharger pressure line may cause symptoms such as:

  • Visible engine oil leakage
  • Oil around the turbocharger
  • Oil around pressure-line connections
  • Falling engine oil level
  • Burning-oil smell
  • Smoke caused by oil reaching hot exhaust components
  • Oil staining around the engine
  • Wet or oily fittings
  • Low oil-pressure warnings in severe cases
  • Turbocharger noise if lubrication becomes inadequate
  • Reduced turbocharger performance if damage develops
  • Oil-related smoke from the exhaust if turbocharger damage occurs

A leaking turbo oil line should be investigated promptly.

Why Replacement Matters:
A properly functioning pressure line is essential for supplying oil to the turbocharger.

Replacing a leaking, damaged or restricted line helps:

  • Restore correct turbocharger oil supply
  • Prevent engine oil loss
  • Maintain proper turbocharger lubrication
  • Reduce the risk of premature bearing wear
  • Protect the turbocharger from oil-starvation damage
  • Prevent oil contamination of surrounding components
  • Reduce the risk of oil reaching hot exhaust parts
  • Support reliable turbocharger operation

A relatively inexpensive oil-supply fault can become a significantly more expensive repair if it results in turbocharger failure.

Towing loop, in BLACK, can be used for front and rear

Available for:

FRONT / REAR Porsche 911 (992) GT3 / GT3 TOURING

The attachment of a towing device is mandatory at many racetrack events. The Tow strap developed for this purpose consists of a bolt made of titanium and a freely adjustable eyelet made of anodised aluminium. This makes the Tow strap particularly light and stable at the same time. A loop made of high-strength polyester webbing is sewn onto the eyelet, which can be fastened with a Velcro fastener during operation. This design is used to safely recover the vehicle on racetracks, for example to pull the vehicle out of a gravel bed.
To do this, screw the hook into the threads provided in the front or rear bumper using the hexagon spanner supplied (left-hand thread). The loop can then be aligned horizontally.
Note: The Tow strap must not be attached while driving on public roads. It is also not permitted to use it for towing the vehicle on public roads. The recovery procedure itself must be carried out by trained personnel. Care must be taken to ensure that the pulling forces are applied in the direction of the hook wherever possible and never perpendicular to it. Jolting loads must also be avoided. The Tow strap is not suitable for lashing the vehicle to a recovery vehicle or car transport trailer. Improper handling can cause injury or damage to the Tow strap or the vehicle.

The sensor measures the temperature of exhaust gases and sends this information to the vehicle's engine management system. Accurate exhaust-temperature information allows the control system to monitor operating conditions and, depending on the vehicle and engine specification, manage strategies designed to protect emissions equipment, turbocharger and exhaust components from excessive temperatures.

A faulty exhaust gas temperature sensor can provide inaccurate readings or stop communicating altogether, potentially triggering warning lights, diagnostic fault codes and protective engine-management strategies.

What This Product Does:
The exhaust gas temperature sensor, commonly abbreviated to EGT sensor, monitors the temperature of gases flowing through a specific part of the exhaust system.

Exhaust temperatures can become extremely high, particularly during high engine loads and certain emissions-control operating conditions.

The sensor converts temperature information into an electrical signal that can be interpreted by the vehicle's control system.

Depending on the particular Porsche application, this information can be used to:

  • Monitor exhaust gas temperature
  • Support engine-management calculations
  • Protect exhaust-system components from excessive heat
  • Support emissions-system operation
  • Monitor catalytic converter or particulate-filter operating conditions where applicable
  • Assist thermal-management strategies
  • Help protect turbocharger and exhaust components where applicable
  • Detect abnormal exhaust-temperature conditions

Accurate temperature information is therefore important for both performance monitoring and component protection.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
A faulty EGT sensor may produce several symptoms depending on the vehicle and type of failure.

Possible signs include:

  • Check-engine warning light
  • Exhaust or emissions-system warning
  • Stored diagnostic trouble codes
  • Implausible exhaust-temperature readings
  • Intermittent temperature readings
  • Loss of sensor communication
  • Reduced engine performance
  • Protective or limp-home mode
  • Changes in emissions-system operation
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Regeneration-related problems on vehicles equipped with a particulate filter
  • Recurring warning messages after fault codes are cleared

Some sensor failures may initially cause no noticeable drivability symptoms other than a warning light.

Why Replacement Matters:
A correctly operating exhaust gas temperature sensor allows the vehicle's control system to know what is happening thermally inside the exhaust system.

Replacing a confirmed faulty sensor helps:

  • Restore accurate exhaust-temperature monitoring
  • Resolve associated sensor fault codes
  • Restore correct engine-management information
  • Support emissions-system operation
  • Maintain thermal protection strategies
  • Reduce the risk of incorrect protective intervention
  • Support correct particulate-filter operation where applicable
  • Restore reliable communication between the exhaust system and control unit

Ignoring a failed sensor can leave the engine-management system without accurate information needed for exhaust thermal management.

The liner forms part of the luggage compartment's protective interior trim, providing a clean, durable barrier between the usable luggage area and the vehicle structure or components beneath and around it. It helps protect the surrounding area from everyday dirt, moisture, scuffs and damage caused by items being transported.

As a Genuine Porsche replacement component, it is designed to restore the luggage compartment to its intended factory appearance and fit when the original liner has become cracked, broken, distorted, heavily scratched or is missing.

What This Product Does:
The luggage compartment liner provides a protective and finishing layer within the vehicle's storage area.

Rather than leaving the underlying body structure and associated components exposed, the liner creates a durable surface suitable for normal luggage compartment use.

Its functions include:

  • Protecting the underlying luggage compartment area
  • Providing a clean and finished factory appearance
  • Helping shield surrounding components from dirt and debris
  • Reducing direct contact between luggage and the vehicle structure
  • Helping protect against minor moisture and contamination
  • Providing a durable surface for everyday storage
  • Helping prevent loose items from directly contacting concealed areas
  • Maintaining the original appearance of the luggage compartment

The liner is primarily a protective and cosmetic component rather than a mechanical part.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Plastic luggage compartment trim does not usually suffer mechanical failure. Instead, deterioration normally occurs through age, impact, repeated loading and unloading, heat or previous removal.

Common signs of damage include:

  • Cracks in the plastic
  • Broken sections
  • Split mounting points
  • Missing retaining areas
  • Deep scratches
  • Heavy scuffing
  • Warped or distorted plastic
  • Loose fitment
  • Rattling while driving
  • Poor alignment with surrounding trim
  • Damaged edges
  • Discolouration
  • Missing sections
  • Previous adhesive or temporary repairs

Minor scratches may only affect appearance, while cracks or broken mounting points can prevent the liner from remaining securely installed.

Why Replacement Matters:
Although the luggage compartment liner is not normally a safety-critical mechanical component, replacing a badly damaged one has several benefits.

A replacement liner helps:

  • Restore the original luggage compartment appearance
  • Protect underlying areas and components
  • Provide a durable storage surface
  • Eliminate broken or loose plastic sections
  • Reduce rattles caused by damaged trim
  • Restore correct alignment with surrounding panels
  • Improve the overall condition and presentation of the vehicle
  • Prevent cracks and damaged mounting areas from deteriorating further

For vehicles being restored, prepared for resale or maintained to a high standard, correct luggage-area trim can make a noticeable difference to the overall finish.

The return line carries power steering fluid back through the hydraulic system after it has assisted steering operation. Maintaining a sealed and unrestricted return path is essential for correct fluid circulation, consistent steering assistance and protection of the power steering pump and associated components.

As a Genuine Porsche component, this line is manufactured for the intended factory installation and is suitable for replacing an original return line that has become cracked, leaking, corroded or otherwise damaged.
What This Product Does:
A hydraulic power steering system uses pressurised fluid to reduce the amount of effort required to turn the steering wheel.

The power steering pump circulates hydraulic fluid through the system. After the fluid has performed its steering-assistance function, it must return through the system so that it can be recirculated.

The power steering return line provides this return path.

Its functions include:

  • Returning hydraulic fluid through the power steering system
  • Maintaining continuous power steering fluid circulation
  • Helping maintain correct hydraulic system operation
  • Preventing fluid from escaping from the system
  • Supporting consistent steering assistance
  • Helping protect the power steering pump from low-fluid operation

Although the return side generally operates at lower pressure than the main pressure supply line, it must still remain properly sealed and free from restrictions.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Power steering lines are exposed to heat, vibration, hydraulic fluid, road contamination and ageing.

Over time, deterioration can result in leaks or restricted fluid flow.

Common symptoms include:

  • Power steering fluid underneath the vehicle
  • Visible fluid around the return line
  • Damp or oily hose connections
  • Falling power steering fluid level
  • Frequent need to top up the reservoir
  • Heavier steering effortIntermittent power steering assistance
  • Whining or groaning from the power steering pump
  • Foaming or aeration in the fluid reservoir
  • Burning smell if fluid reaches hot components
  • Visible cracking or deterioration of flexible hose sections
  • Corrosion on metal sections or fittings
  • Damaged or loose connections

Any unexplained loss of power steering fluid should be investigated promptly.
Why Replacement Matters:
The return line is essential for maintaining a sealed and correctly circulating hydraulic power steering system.

Replacing a damaged or leaking line helps:

  • Stop power steering fluid loss
  • Restore correct hydraulic fluid circulation
  • Maintain consistent steering assistance
  • Reduce the risk of air entering the system
  • Protect the power steering pump
  • Prevent fluid contamination of surrounding components
  • Restore the reliability of the steering system

Because steering is a safety-critical vehicle system, known hydraulic leaks or damaged lines should be repaired promptly.

The CV boot is a protective sealing component. It is exposed to suspension movement, road debris, water, salt, heat and age-related rubber deterioration. If the boot splits or loses its seal, grease can escape and contamination can enter the CV joint. Once the joint runs without lubrication or becomes contaminated, wear can develop quickly.

Replacing a damaged boot with a Genuine Porsche OE inner CV joint boot / repair set helps protect the drive shaft assembly and maintain proper drivetrain performance.

Common Symptoms of a Failed CV Boot
•  Grease visible around the drive shaft or suspension area
•  Split, cracked or torn rubber boot
•  Grease loss from the inner CV joint
•  Clicking, knocking or vibration if the CV joint has become worn
•  Dirt or water contamination inside the CV joint
•  Boot clamp failure or loose boot seating
•  MOT / roadworthiness failure due to damaged CV boot
•  Damage found during drivetrain or suspension inspection.

When to Replace This Part
•   If the inner CV boot is split, cracked or leaking grease
•   If the boot clamp has failed or the boot no longer seals correctly
•   During drive shaft repair or inspection
•   If the CV joint is being cleaned, repacked with grease or serviced
•   During suspension or drivetrain overhaul

Exhaust Gasket, Manifold To Downpipe, LHD.
The Genuine Porsche Exhaust Gasket 477253115E is a replacement sealing component designed for the connection between the exhaust manifold and downpipe on compatible left-hand-drive (LHD) Porsche applications.

Fits:
  • Porsche 924 2.0L 1976-79
  • Porsche 924 2.0L 1980-85

Diagram Ref No 11

This gasket creates a gas-tight seal at an important exhaust-system joint, preventing hot exhaust gases from escaping before they continue through the downpipe and the rest of the exhaust system.

Constant exposure to extreme temperatures, exhaust gases and repeated heating and cooling cycles can cause an old gasket to deteriorate, compress or burn through. Replacing a failed gasket helps restore a properly sealed exhaust connection, reduce unwanted exhaust noise and prevent hot gases leaking around the manifold-to-downpipe joint.

What This Product Does:
The exhaust gasket sits between the mating surfaces of the exhaust manifold and downpipe, creating a seal when the components are secured together.

Exhaust gases leave the engine at high temperature and pressure. These gases must remain contained within the exhaust system as they travel away from the engine.

The gasket helps:

  • Create a gas-tight manifold-to-downpipe connection
  • Prevent exhaust gases escaping through the joint
  • Reduce unwanted exhaust noise
  • Maintain proper exhaust-system integrity
  • Protect surrounding components from escaping hot gases
  • Prevent exhaust fumes leaking from the connection
  • Maintain a secure seal despite repeated thermal expansion and contraction

Although relatively small, the gasket plays an important role in keeping the exhaust system correctly sealed.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
A deteriorated manifold-to-downpipe gasket can allow exhaust gases to escape through the connection.

Common symptoms may include:

  • Ticking, tapping or blowing noise from the exhaust joint
  • Increased exhaust noise
  • Hissing or puffing sounds during acceleration
  • Exhaust fumes or odour around the engine or underside of the vehicle
  • Black soot deposits around the manifold-to-downpipe connection
  • Visible signs of exhaust gas leakage
  • Reduced exhaust-system sealing
  • Noise that becomes more noticeable under load
  • Heat damage or discolouration around the leaking joint
  • Engine or emissions-related faults where applicable

A small leak may initially only be noticeable when the engine is cold or under acceleration.

Why Replacement Matters:
A leaking exhaust gasket should not be ignored.

Replacing a worn or damaged manifold-to-downpipe gasket helps:

  • Restore a properly sealed exhaust connection
  • Prevent hot exhaust gases escaping from the joint
  • Reduce blowing, ticking and hissing noises
  • Prevent soot accumulation around the connection
  • Protect nearby components from concentrated exhaust heat
  • Reduce the possibility of exhaust fumes entering areas where they should not
  • Maintain correct exhaust-system operationRestore a cleaner and quieter exhaust system

A deteriorated gasket can progressively worsen as hot gases erode the sealing area.

Fits:
  • Porsche 993 (911) C2 1994-97
  • Porsche 993 (911) C4 1994-97

Diagram Ref No 24

The engine's intake system relies on properly sealed connections to ensure that the correct amount of air reaches the engine. This seal is fitted at the relevant intake manifold connector, helping prevent unwanted air from entering through the joint.

Over time, exposure to engine heat, vibration and repeated temperature cycles can cause the original seal to harden, shrink, crack or lose elasticity. A deteriorated intake seal can create an air or vacuum leak, potentially affecting idle quality, engine performance and air/fuel mixture control.

What This Product Does:
The intake manifold connector seal creates an airtight joint between the relevant components of the engine intake system.

During operation, the engine draws air through the intake system and into the cylinders. Connections downstream in the intake tract must remain properly sealed so that unwanted air cannot enter through gaps between components.

A correctly functioning connector seal helps:

  • Maintain an airtight intake connection
  • Prevent vacuum and intake air leaks
  • Reduce unwanted or unmetered air entering the engine
  • Support stable engine idle
  • Maintain consistent engine performance
  • Support correct air/fuel mixture control
  • Maintain intake-system integrity

Even a relatively small leak can affect engine operation, particularly at idle when intake vacuum can be significant.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
A deteriorated intake seal can allow air to enter through the manifold connection rather than through the intended intake path.

Possible symptoms include:

  • Rough or unstable idle
  • Higher than normal idle speed
  • Fluctuating or hunting idle
  • Engine hesitation
  • Reduced throttle response
  • Poor or inconsistent engine performance
  • Lean-running symptoms
  • Difficult starting
  • Engine misfires
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Engine warning light on vehicles with applicable diagnostics
  • Air/fuel mixture or lean-condition fault codes where applicable
  • Hissing or whistling noise from the intake area

Symptoms may vary according to the size and location of the leak.

Why Replacement Matters:
An intake air leak can affect the engine's ability to maintain the intended air/fuel mixture and stable operating conditions.

Replacing a deteriorated intake manifold connector seal helps:

  • Restore an airtight intake connection
  • Prevent unwanted air or vacuum leakage
  • Improve idle stability
  • Support consistent throttle response
  • Maintain correct intake-system operation
  • Support accurate air/fuel mixture control
  • Reduce lean-running problems caused by intake leaks
  • Restore reliable engine performance

Ignoring an intake leak can result in persistent drivability problems and make accurate engine tuning or diagnosis more difficult.
