The 997.2 Carrera Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe makes a great compliment to either the factory side mufflers or to Fabspeed's Maxflo Performance Side Exhaust System. It improves exhaust tone and saves weight by replacing the factory center muffler with a lightweight x-pipe.

You'll experience a nice seat of the pants power gain. We saw peak gains of 12 whp and 15 ft-lbs.

SOUND:

Without PSE: A subtle improvement, with a throatier, deeper exhaust note. A perfect first exhaust upgrade for your Carrera. Combine with our Maxflow Performance Side Exhaust System for the perfect level of volume and a refined sports car sound.

With PSE: A great delta between valves closed and open. With valves open and the side mufflers allowed to channel through the free flowing CMBP, the exhaust offers a race like, brilliant exhaust note. Very aggressive, noticeable burbles and crackles. With valves closed, return to a refined, non droning civil level of exhaust tone.

Fabspeed Cat By-Pass Pipes.
The Fabspeed Cat Bypass Pipes are high-performance straight-through exhaust pipes developed for the Porsche 997.2 Turbo and Turbo S from 2010–2012.

Fits:

Designed specifically for track and off-road applications, these pipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with a freer-flowing exhaust path. Removing the catalyst section reduces exhaust restriction after the turbochargers, allowing exhaust gases to exit more freely while producing a significantly louder and more aggressive exhaust note.  

What This Product Does:

The factory exhaust system uses catalytic converters to treat exhaust gases before they leave the vehicle.

Although catalytic converters perform an important emissions-control function, they also create some resistance to exhaust flow.

The Fabspeed Cat Bypass Pipes remove this catalyst section entirely and replace it with straight-through stainless-steel tubing.

Fabspeed Deluxe Dual Style Tips.

The Fabspeed Deluxe Dual Style Exhaust Tips are a premium styling and replacement upgrade designed for the Porsche 997.2 GT3 and GT3 RS.

Fits:

• Porsche 997 MKII GT3 / GT3 RS 2010-11

Featuring larger 100mm outlets compared with the approximately 88mm factory tips, they give the rear of the GT3 a more substantial and performance-focused appearance while retaining a factory-style mounting arrangement.

The tips are designed to bolt directly to the original centre muffler and can also be used with compatible aftermarket exhaust systems that accept factory-style exhaust tips.

Available finishes include Polished Stainless Steel, Carbon Fiber, Satin Black and Titanium, allowing the exhaust appearance to be matched to the vehicle's styling.
